I began using Neighborhood CPAP2 years ago. I have used CPAP for over 10 years and was looking to purchase replacement equipment. I phoned other competitors around the city and explained my needs and insurance coverage. I was told about their requirements and payments even that I would need to rent the equipment. I knew these were not required by my insurance. After calling neighborhood CPAP I quickly discovered that the person I was talking to was going to take care of my needs. He took my insurance information and asked that I have my prescription with me or faxed to them should I decide to make my purchase there. They checked on my insurance coverage and called me back with the details. I didn’t have to make an appointment and they are even open on Saturdays so I didn’t have to miss work. I told them I would come on Saturday to see what they had. When I arrived I was expected and they explained the various equipment and my obligations. These guys use CPAP equipment and know exactly what they are talking about not just what the sales reps tell them! It was so nice to actually be able to talk with someone that actually uses and understands the issues with CPAP. If you want personalized service in a relaxed atmosphere from a group of friendly caring people that will work with you to gain your business this is the place to go! The first couple of times I visited this place was much more pleasant than my most recent visit. This time when I walked in I wasn’t even greeted(barely acknowledged). A guy finally came over to offer assistance & once I told him what I needed he pointed to the lady I needed to speak with. Well, she glanced over at me and said, with attitude and dismay, «it’s gonna be a while». UNVBELIEVABLE!!! Granted, she was speaking with another customer when I walked in(which I didn’t mind as I wasn’t in a rush) but a little niceness on the job is so much better for business in my opinion. The way I was treated during my first couple of visits is the only reason I won’t rate this place with one star.

I was diagnosed with moderate sleep apnea earlier this year. The customer service at Neighborhood CPAP is so impressive. I called on a Sunday afternoon hoping to get a recorder to find out their hours for the following Monday. To my surprise the owner answered on his cell phone and offered to open the store just for me. He spent a few hours with me explaining everything and even threw in a couple of freebies to make my mask as comfortable as possible. They have incredible customer service. I would highly recommend giving them a chance to earn your business.
