Very good bakery and convenient location… owner could be more personable but is actually very nice when you get to know him. the chocolate mousse cake is excellent and prices are good too

I agree with the other reviewers, the owners seemed extremely rude. Didn’t crack a smile or seem warm and welcoming in the least, which you would expect from a mom and pop bakery. However, that wasn’t what prompted me to write this review. There was something the owner’s mother did which REALLY made my skin crawl. There was an older gentlemen being helped when I came in who was clearly a regular. He ordered some pignoli cookies and the owner’s mother used her bare hands to place them in the box. I literally dry heaved because I could only imagine what was going on with my canolis that were being prepared for me out of sight. Made me feel like he was licking cream off his fingers as he filled them. YUCK. They should know better in this day and age. BTW, yes she was also handling money with those same bare hands. Eat at your own risk.

I have been here a few times and I agree with Ben that the owner is not«friendly» at all. I just called today to ask information on how to go about helping out for a bake sale at our school to raise funds for the Typhoon victims in the Philippines. He did not even bother to ask what the fundraising is for. Just completely shut me down. They will not get a penny from me from now on as well as my friends.

I have been going to this bakery since it opened. This bakery is unbelievably good. They make the«Italian birthday-wedding cake(I grew up on this cake and Artuso’s bakery used to make it) better than Artuso’s on Arthur Ave. Their mini pastries are great. I have tried so many wonderful pies and I think they call it a blueberry coffee ring which are go good also. Haven’t tried anything I didn’t like. A friend of mine ordered a wedding cake from them and raved about it. Yummy!!! Wouldn’t go anywhere else. So glad this bakery is in my town.

A Bakery in my home town right on 5th avenue. I don’t really have anything bad to say about it, i mean it does suck they don’t have a credit card machine they should prob get on that. But it’s a nice establishment that has baked good, nice staff, never really had a problem the few times i came here. All good things.

Excellent bakery right there on 5th Ave. in Pelham Manor, New York. I’ve tried their rainbow cookies, brownies, Napoleans, macarons, cheesecake, and donuts– all of which have been excellent. They don’t take credit card and so keep it old school but so is the case with other establishments in the area. Be sure to carry cash with you. Owner can be a little grumpy at times but he’s an excellent baker. His mother is a sweetheart and tends to be generous with the portions or adds an extra here and there with a wink and«Come back again» Great place.
