Their prices on appliances are competitive and they know what they are doing. Online reviews of major appliances are mostly «seems nice» from people who just got them or «it broke» from people whose unit just stopped working, which doesn’t aggregate out that well, so it’s nice to talk to the people who fix them about which models/brands to go with.

I can not say enough good about Tiso. We shopped around at so many different appliance stores and big named places like Home Depot and Lowes. We brought a list of the 4 different appliances that we wanted to Tiso and they got them for us at better price with awesome service that came with many helpful tips and without any pressure. If you want to purchase your appliances from a place with integrity and an honest staff than this is your place. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our experience from start to finish. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESS! BECAUSE THEY CARE… Our washer broke and was beyond repair (a friend is the repair person and recommended to go online find a price range then go to Tiso’s) Well maybe we could of saved $ 50. or so but would not of received the BEST SERVICE EVER… and same day delivery.
They get there when they say they are going to get there and have a trained crew that know what they have to do and do it the washer was installed in no time. They are professionals and they respect your property. When they finished there was nothing left for us to do but laundry… they even took the trash with them and were ever so careful not to bang into the walls.

We just moved to Pelham and our nanny had an issue with the dryer. We called Tiso, they came out and it turned out the circuit breaker just needed to be flipped. Tiso then turned around and charged us $ 100+ for a 3 minute visit to flip a circuit breaker. When my wife called to ask them why it was $ 100, they yelled at her. Won’t be calling them again.

They don’t have much of a showroom so you’ll have to know what you want before you go there. They have great prices and can beat the big chains. The sales people seem knowledgeable and will shoot the breeze with you without pressuring you to buy. We’ve made a couple of big ticket purchases at Tiso for our kitchen remodel and will definitely go back for any future needs.

Have been buying appliances from Tiso for years, probably about 10 times and their prices are always the lowest and very easy to work with. I wouldn’t buy an appliance anywhere else.
