Might be good for breakfast, or for a burger — BUT. I have fond memories of hot open-faced sandwiches, so recently ordered hot turkey. Fake turkey, instant mashed potatoes, and the worst canned gravy ever. What a disappointment.

We stopped here for lunch. I had the turkey wrap and my fiancée had the burger which was good too. I especially liked the turkey wrap since the wrap was closer in thickness to crêpe. The service was fast and price was just right. We managed to get in and out in less than 30 minutes. I liked also getting a side salad substituted for fries. My fiancée had the rice and chicken soup.

We stopped in for breakfast. Cute place right on the square. Clean, good service and the food hit the spot.

Came in for breakfast when I was in town for work. First off, downtown Pella is a quaint Dutch-influenced town. This café is in the heart of the town as it faces the park and a short walk from The Royal Amsterdam Hotel. The breakfast was good(Egg white omelette). Standard hash and toast. And it’s cheap! I think my breakfast was a cool $ 7. Free wifi and the folks that run it seem genuinely nice. Will be back next time I’m in town.

Quaint little café in the middle of town. We were welcomed and seated as soon as we walked in. Very clean place and nicely decorated for the holidays. The biscuits and gravy was good but not the best we have ever had. However, the country fried steak was exceptionally delicious! It was crispy and with a great peppery gravy. Would definitely return here in the future as we see they have a Sunday brunch buffet!

Food is great! Very nice atmosphere. I had the gyro, best in the area. Looks like the breakfast menu is pretty good too.

Stopped in here on a Sunday morning as we were headed through Pella. Really cute place on the beautiful town square, good food on the breakfast buffet, and wonderful service. I am not usually a fan of buffets, but this was one was good and lots of choices. I would like to go back sometime.

I had the daily soup special: a crock of Creamy Broccoli Soup with a Chicken Salad Croissant for $ 5.95 and capped my meal off with a slice of Strawberry Rhubarb Pie. The croissant was fresh and fluffy, though the chicken salad was lacking. It wasn’t bad, but I’ve had better. It was very finely chopped, so it was lacking the crunchiness you get from chicken salad with bigger pieces of celery or the crispness of grapes. The soup was incredibly tasty and creamy. I’m used to broccoli cheese soups being made with yellow cheeses. This one was made with a white cheese, which was a tasty change. The special, I would say, was most definitely Creamy Broccoli Soup WITH a Chicken Salad Croissant and not Creamy Broccoli Soup AND A Chicken Salad Croissant. The soup was the real feature of this special. After being on the fence about dessert, I’m glad I spoke up and got a slice of Strawberry Rhubarb pie. I had the option of getting it with ice cream, which I turned down, and the option of having it heated, which I accepted. This pie was wonderful! It was the perfect balance of tangy, tart, and sweet. Definitely worth the additional $ 3.75. Service was a little slow as the place was full for the lunch rush, but my mom and I had a nice lunch in the window booth of the shop. I would definitely recommend this place for a tasty breakfast(served all day!) or lunch!

Just ate«dinner» here while here for the festival. To say the least I am very underwhelmed. I ordered the Monte Cristo, what I got was a hoagie bun with grilled chicken, bacon, «white» cheese, and ham. Not at all a Monte Cristo, not even close. My friend ordered the«Union Club» sandwich, she received a toasted white bread sandwich with turkey cold cut, bacon, lettuce, and tomato; pretty standard but only two slices of bread and skimpy portions. A second friend ordered the Chicken Parmesan, he received some bland jarred sauce, over cooked spaghetti, and grilled chicken strips with the same«white» cheese. I’ll skip the description of the fries… The waitress was flippant, unfriendly, and performed her duties at the least possible effort. James S.

A few family members and I ate sandwiches for lunch when it was quite busy. We were seated rather quickly and the staff was responsive to where we wanted to sit. The burger and gyros tasted good, and the gyros had a good amount of sauce. The reuben was delicious even if wasn’t as large as some served elsewhere. I thought that the menu had several interesting and varied options. The atmosphere was okay with several TV’s(turned to sports when I was there) with one TV set to local advertising.

Friendly staff welcomed us to the quaint restaurant on the square. The dining area was half full at 12:30& as we were seated the table next to us proclaimed that it was the best omelet he had ever had with another saying it was the best breakfast he had at any restaurant. That proved to be true for our lunch as well. My companion ordered Beef N Noodles while I went for the Pork Tenderloin. Great bun, homemade? We both enjoyed what we ordered but after trading a bite with each other, we realized that liked what the other had even more. Does every couple do the rank who got the better meal, or is that just us? Within seconds of us trading meals, our waitress observed that we had swapped dishes and came over to ensure everything ok. Exceptional service! She offered to exchange out the meal for another or a different option if we were unhappy. We had to convince her that we both liked what ordered, we just liked the other one better. I look forward to dining here again! Just be sure you have your checkbook or cash, they don’t take plastic.

Good home-style diner with breakfast served all day. Dee-licious waffles with yummy toppings, croissant sandwiches and a tasty Greek salad. There was pie, but we were too full. Located on very Dutch Main street and near the glockenspiel clock with puppet-trons that tell the history of Pella. This town is neat as a pin.

Had lunch there today. The hamburger and fries were great. The gyro was good. The 3 cheese pasta bake that was a special was just ok. Service was very good even though the place really busy.

We waited a long time for a lunch table here. My beef sandwich was not very good, but luckily my dad ordered a delicious pork chop and shared with me. I think this might have been a four-star review if I had stuck to the midwestern meat n’ potatoes specials and avoided the sandwich area of the menu.

One of the many little restaurant in Pella. I’m a fan of the spiced beef when they have it, but they always have different specials. It’s reasonably priced. Like every other place in Pella, everyone knows everyone so be prepared to wait. :-D
