Just to follow up on my first review. I received my furniture 4 weeks earlier than originally quoted. Nice surprise! Everything came out beautifully. Received calls not only from their delivery service, but also the associate who originally helped me. Very pleased with their service.

This is the worst furniture store I’ve ever been to this place has the most retarded people in the store. I needed to get a new Dining Room Table and so I decided to go to Ethan Allen and I’ve made the wrong choice I should’ve gone to Baer’s next door. The man who helped me wasn’t friendly he told me that I want u to get out of my store and so I left and sat down on the sidewalk crying and then I went to Baer’s next door and the very helpful gentlemen told me what was wrong and I told him that I went to Ethan Allen to get a new Dining Room Table and then he went next door to tell the guy something and that was nice of him. So then I got my Dining Room Table at Baer’s and never go to Ethan Allen folks especially the Pembroke Pines one.

STAYAWAY unless prepared to be treated like a second class citizen! Or, get ‘dressed up’ so you look the part so you don’t get judged before you open your mouth! I’ve never been more embarrassed and humiliated in all my life! I arrived and planned to shop, all ‘decked out’ in my jeans, a t-shirt, and a ball cap. There wasn’t anybody to greet me in the reception area, so I proceeded to walk around. I was intercepted by an employee(who’s name I will kindly leave out of this review) who told me it was ‘obviously’ my first time there, and that I must be escorted through the store. I was in a hurry, and told her that I would make the circuit real quick to see what caught my eye, and I was told I could not do that. «I must escort you. This is NOT the kind of store you can just pick things from the floor. We ONLY do custom work! You will not see your furniture for two weeks, three weeks, even four! We are ALL custom.» Her attitude and demeanor was pure arrogance, so I replied to the snooty woman that I had already seen enough. She then proceeded to escort me to the exit as quickly as she could!(Perhaps I was going to try to stuff a sofa under my hat or something…) As I stood on the sidewalk, humiliated, and realizing I had just been kicked out, I truly couldn’t believe it, and decided she would not get away with treating me so poorly. I went back inside, and without raising my voice, proceeded to tell her that she was rude, and had embarrassed and humiliated me by her judgmental behavior. She, of course, played the«Who? Me???» card. I said«You just treated me like a criminal!» RUDE, ARROGANT, SNOBS! Ethan Allen, NEVER again!
