Ordered take out once from this restaurant & never again. The beans were a watered down mess the plantains were gross & rice was really sticky & disgusting.

«Manager would rather loose longtime repeat customers rather then loosing $ 2.95»
Colleagues and I have been going there for years now (over 10 years) and the food and atmosphere has always been good. The staff has recently changed and we were disappointed today when the current manager refused to take care of a discrepancy on the check. There was a confusion with the order and we receive one item instead of the other.
Initially we were cool about but just wanted an explanation since it was not clear. I really lost my cool when the manager stated that she would rather lose us as customers then removing a $ 2.95 item from the ticket. Being from the industry I know the value of longtime repeat customers. I wish them luck with that attitude.

Frijolitos has really good food. It quite inexpensive and you get a lot for your money. Service is sometimes slacking once you get your food… but you won’t notice ’cause you will be loving what you eat! Best of all, you can have a great meal for under $ 15.

Everything at Los Frijolitos has always been great. The staff is super friendly and the food is consistently great. I absolute recommend everyone going there. There’s something for everyone.

The food is good tasting for being just the 2nd Colombian restaurant in pines blvd is awesome. Service was great at first However once literately like 20 cops got there and the plates were picked up and it was time for dessert or coffee and the check, they took about more than 10 mins to come to us, even though it got full once we were done eating we should of been still taken care off and not ignored and left forgotten for that long. We sat down at 11:47 am and breakfast was served it said until 12 noon but they denied breakfast service, whatever.
We ate arepas choclo (way too little bit of cheese), ate empanadas and they were good the mini steak was great.

Great Columbian food with friendly and fast service. We had a beef empanadas that came with a salsa. I had a small soup, which was actually a great portion size and my husband had the typico platewhich had everything. Will come back again when I am inthe mood for Columbian food.

Sin duda alguna el mejor restaurante Colombiano del sur de la Florida. Lo recomiendo 100%. La comida, atencion y ambiente del lugar lo lleva a uno de regreso a Colombia. Todo es deliciosoo. Precios super rasonables especialmente su «lunch especial». Execelente opcion para un desayuno o almuerzo familiar.

The food was excellent and authentic. The place was very clean. They gave a nice helping if food. I ordered the mini lunch steak and it came with rice and beans and salad. The price was amazing for the taste and quantity. I will be a regular.

Absolutely love it. I totally recommend anyone to eat here, didn’t expect it to taste that great well the dish I ordered anyway. Decent price for the food you order. Will definitely come again and plan to bring friends to bad this tiny little place doesn’t get as much popularity as it should cause it’s pretty good: D

Excellent food, plenty of friendly, attentive staff to tend to a full house during a busy weekend lunch time. They serve every dish a typical Colombian restaurant should, food is brought promptly and customers needn’t ask for additional napkins, spices, or condiments because the serves make sure you have everything you need. In addition, the ambiance is inviting and friendly leaving you with a desire to return and tell others of the fantastic experience.

The empanadas were good. Didn’t get a chance to try any of the baked goods. Food’s okay, but a few bucks overpriced in my opinion. Waitress was okay. Might give it another shot some time.

Colombian Restaurant very typical with ballenato and décor. Waitress took about 6 minutes to acknowledge me, I was just thinking about my Unilocal review when she said «Ya le antiendo. «I ordered bakery items at a restaurant, my fault. The Arepa de Choclo are not fresh they are the one’s you can buy in the supermarket for $ 6.00. So I got charged $ 6 for the arepas when I could of easily gone and bought the bag at supermarket which includes five arepas for the same price. I take it as lesson learned, the pan de bono was clearly fresh thank god… For bakery items, go to a colombian bakery for food based on what I saw it looked good. I give it 3 stars because I wasn’t acknowledged and I’m here to give you my money… I saw the menu for cantinas and it looks good, will come back for real food. ;)

First of all, it is Colombian, not Mexican.
The place is clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Lunch prices are incredibly good given the portion size and quality of food.
