The lines, always crowded. Only 2 cashiers and cannot get their butts off the chair and work for the other ones. Demolish the other ones if you aren’t even going to work! Go to a different Michael’s. Shame on you Pembroke Pines for having the poorest shops ever!

Beautiful stone bracelets area in this store. You had a lot of choices and sizes that can fit your arms. I often enjoy my all free time to hand out with my friend here whenever i have a party to go or to organize our house. High recommended

Im always so disappointed when I go into this Michaels location. The customer service is poor, they never have enough lines open and their stock of yarn and knitting supplies is lacking. Avoid the hassle and go to the location in Ft Lauderdale or off University

Today changed my review from 5 stars to 1 star because of your ATROCIOUS customer service! I came in today to purchase items my mother wanted to make her own thanksgiving center pieces. I needed some scrapbook items for myself. I let the cashier know I was doing two separate transactions, one for my items with my card, and one for my mother with hers. When it came to pay for the second transaction, the woman refused to let me use the second coupon even though it was for two desperate customers. The price difference with the coupon would’ve been at most $ 8, but michaels lost me entire 100 $ purchase because of this! I returned everything. I will never come to this michaels again. Appalled!!!

There’s only one word to describe this store, ‘Messy’. Better to head on over to the Michael’s along University in Davie.

I had a specific project in mind I was shopping for when I came here this past Friday night. Maybe because they were 1 hour from closing time, there were barely any sales associates on the floor and only 1 open register. No one asked if I needed help. I meandered around the store for some time going through my list. I was really disappointed with the selection. I think the Aventura and Oakwood locations are better laid out and have way more inventory. I wasn’t happy with anything I picked out but figured I could get it and always return later if I found something better in a different store. The trouble is that Michael’s is really the only arts and crafts store in the area and basically monopolizes the market. This morning I was on the Joann Fabrics website and was a) surprised to see they have a large selection of craft items, not just fabrics as the name suggests, and 2) you can search their store inventory online! If only Michaels had this option I would have saved myself a lot of grief. I’m about to head out now to see if Joann meets my expectations. But back to Michaels, I do like their selection of cheap stationery, notepads, stamps, etc. It is kind of like the dollar spot at Target. I like browsing for great bargains but in the future if I am looking for specific things I will likely go to Joann or order from online craft sites. If you are on the Michaels email list you will get a daily email with coupons which is annoying but useful for when you get that creative bug. I may also look into reducing the frequency of the emails if that is an option.

Just picked up my custom framing order today. We are really happy with the outcome of the frame we picked and the quality of the frame. During the frame selection process we were VERY undecided as to which frame to choose for our oil painting. The employee who helped us, Angela was awesome. She listened to what we were looking for and made great recommendations. She definitely has a great eye for design. Picked up some great frames today(which were on sale, plus I had a 20% off coupon which came in the Weekly Ad). I bought frames to finally put up pictures. Unfortunately, they only had three blue frames and I needed four– I will have to visit the Aventura store.

Everything Arts and Crafts is here and more my visits though consist of a last minute Christmas dinner party im currently planning finding center pieces and make shift place holders etc never looked so easy, yes coordination is a bit more difficult than expected but hey through the stress there’s always Michael s. Parking sucks here though and the displays in the aisles are annoying sometimes.

All of your arts and crafts needs are at this location. Most of my recent visits have been because of Christmas activities or parties, including my birthday(YAY!). If you have a feeling to get creative and want to find something artsy to do, Michaels should be your first thought. Everything and anything is here. Parking can be a little bit of a pain, but nothing too stressful, unless it’s packed. Then, good luck to you! :D Like I said, since my last couple of visits were«decorating» related, I bought a few display plates to use as center pieces at each table for $.99. Also, purchased LED light candles, which are definitely worth the money. During Christmas season, this store was packed! And, I mean, the line would be around the corner to the cash registers and could possibly go all the way down the length of the store. Michaels has the best cheap products for decorations or cardstock(since I DIYed my birthday invitations), whatever your little creative heart desires, if you come at the right time, you can get it for a good price. My mother and I went Christmas decoration rummaging through wired baskets and can I say? GLITTEREVERYWHERE! But that’s besides the point, MIchaels is a great place! The staff is not super friendly but, friendly enough to do their job and get you out of there, sometimes in a little bit more time than you were expecting. But, hey, what do you really expect? Just go to Michaels to buy beads to make some jewelry, paint to create a masterpiece, scrap-booking material to create long-lasting memories, or some yarn to knit yourself a nice hat and scarf! Don’t forget the knitting needles!

Since all of the other arts and crafts stores have closed, this is the only one and thank God! They have a wide variety of supplies, ranging from paint to fondant. They usually have sales on all sorts of stuff, so you’re bound to spend a good $ 20 on a good day.
