Dr Molina is the best … We’ve seen another dr and they where good too and helped my baby when he was sick. But dr Molina has been seeing our little one since he was born so we just prefer her. She already knows him. The nurses are very sweet also

The front office people over book the appointments and the doctors are always running behind schedule. Waiting for a ‘well check’ appointment for over 1.5 hours is ridiculous. Nurses are absolutely not friendly here in the Chapel Trail office. Although I have been bringing my kids to this office for the last 14 years, nothing has changed. And I come here just for the reason that the doctors are good.

We have been with Pediatric Associates for 17 years. Dr. Villar has been our Pediatrician since my 13 year old was born. She moved from the Pembroke Pines office, which is closer to my home, to Chapel Trail and we moved with her. Although we continue to see other Physicians at P. Pines if we have an after hours or minor event. She makes my kids and I feel like an old family friend. She is always available if my son’s condition acts up and I trust her more than my own doctor. She is a blessing to my family.

Get there on time. They’re very nice and helpful. Weekdays: Go with Kalimaris. Weekend: De Los Santos. Both are great with kids.

I have been using Pediatric Associates Chapel Trail office since 2000. They have ALWAYS fit my sick child in no matter what! Sometimes the wait is long, even on pre– scheduled visits but we are okay to wait since we get the same consideration of time and attention when it is our turn. My youngest loves Dr. Villar! Her attention to detail and her bedside manner are impeccable! We are experiencing a particularly difficult time health wise, and Dr. Villar has guided, consoled, and communicated with us at every turn! She works well with doctors for other specialties. She is a gem! Staff is young but energetic. Sometimes wish they accepted adult patients!

Where do I start… Ok 945AM appt and we arrive at 943, we check in for seeing Dr. Villar, start by saying she’s amazing and SHE get 5 stars. Reception asks if we’d be willing to see any other Dr. if available we say, NO since this is an annual physical we only want to see OUR Dr. Preface to say this is a standard question asked to everyone, at every visit. We complete the requisite paperwork and take a seat in the open waiting area. perhaps 15 minutes wait time. The nurse then calls us in for triage. Weight, Height and pressure are taken, an ipad is handed to me and questionnaire completed. We are ushered into a numbered room and my child is then taken to do hearing and vision testing while I continue the Ipad questionnaire. Hearing and vision tests complete, Ipad questionnaire is now complete and we’re instructed to remove all clothing except underpants and the paper gown is put on. This is where it went awry. In paper gown and closed examination room we now wait 1 hour with NO communication. I opened the exam room door and there are 3 staff personnel whom I ask if they could find out for me if there was any issue or known delay as we were now at about 11AM and our apt was 945. They say they’ll find out. I then go back to the exam room where my child is cold, uncomfortable and antsy in the paper gown and I wait 15 more minutes and no one comes back to communicate any findings to me as to the cause of the delay. I again step out of the room to ask if they’d found out anything and upon realizing they had nothing to say, not sure if they ever inquired, I then ask if they could please let the office manager know I’d like to see her. I reenter the room and wait about another 5 – 7 minutes and Dr Villar comes in. I’m very happy to see her. I gave her a brief synopsis,. I’m very glad to see her and by no means rest any of this on her shoulder. She is worth the wait as she is one of the best MD’s there. Others leave much to be desired and I wouldn’t let then within feet of my child. The staff needs training the problem is the poor communication on their part and their insensitivity to the needs and lives of their patients. I dont suggest you close your exam room door and dont expect any communication. Ask questions constantly if you are delayed. dont wait 1 hour like I did, become a PITA if you must. Train them since it seems they’re not trained in people skills and perhaps only have clinical training,
