Do not recommend at all! Maria was so rude. When I asked if she could come down on the price a little she started yelling and being so rude. I still probably would’ve done business with them regardless of the price but she just got so rude! She started talking about me to the other lady in Spanish when I could clearly understand everything she was saying. She threw my dress back at me and threatened to keep my despot until I demanded it back. Do not go here! They were so rude!

I’m happy to have found this little place which has helped me and my daughter. The lady knows the job very well. The best thing is just abt 5 minutes from home, this is great.

I’m writing this as I arrive home from picking up the items I left at Ramona’s for alterations. I would recommend Ramona’s Alterations to ANYONE. I bought 3 dresses that were designer and cute, yet didn’t fit my body properly. I searched online for the nearest seamstress and alteration company near me and found Ramona’s. I thought I’d give it a shot based on the other good reviews. The store is tucked away in a plaza… nice and quaint. Everyone is always hard at work in the back. I was greeted promptly and with a smile by Maria and her sweet granddaughter. Maria had me try on each dress and describe what I wanted to change about each one. One dress was a little too long, one needed to be taken in, and one dress had a cowl neck that I hated the look of… so I asked if she could create an entirely new neckline for me. She pinned quickly and symmetrically, and told me they’d be ready in about a week. I left confident that she understood what I liked and disliked about each item, and now a week later, I could not be happier with the results! Maria was there when I arrived to pick up, and had me try on each dress as she personally made sure they fit the way I wanted. Once I put it on, Maria and I both agreed that the neckline still needed to be fixed somehow. We brainstormed for a minute, she pinned, and stitched the new look while I tried on the last dress. That quickly! Maria is AMAZING. Not only does she possess incredible, and natural talent, but she truly is a kind soul. I can not wait to bring more dress and other clothing items to Maria for fixing.

I just had my 1^st garment altered by Ramona’s and it turned out PERFECT! I had the hem, waist and top taken in on a dress, and it fits to perfection. This is my new go-​to alterations shop. Both ladies that helped me were very nice. They accept cash only. Highly recommended!

If you need anything seamstress related these are the little Spanish ladies that get the job done.
Cash only and limited English for them however neither is a problem. There’s a Wells Fargo ATM on the corner and in the world of alterations, gestures and minimal conversations get the job done.
They do same day alterations here if you need a quick fix and if you’re dropping off you can expect your items ready rather quickly although weekends tend to be busy.
