We came around 8 pm and there was a long queue! But we only waited for 20 min. The sushi was very fresh! Shrimp too! Hibachi grill was really tasty. The service was good and the price was incredibly reasonable !

Haven’t been here over a year, crab legs were kind of salty and soggy, the rest of the food is really good. I was disappointed that they raised the price to $ 21.95 and they’re not even serving steaks or good quality crab legs. Won’t be back, too pricy.

We have been wanting to try this location for quite some time now. A friend mentioned it was much better than the one on 72nd&87th Ave in South Miami. Boy was she right!!! There was such a huge selection of sushi. The hibachi station was a major hit with my family! The food stations were yummy even though I didn’t see as many selections as in other buffets BUT the sushi made up for it and so did the hibachi! Love that you can pick and choose the amount to put on your plate even though some people really eat with their eyes and pile up way too much steak and shrimp! In the future I’m sure do to the greedy people this will change but I’m glad I had a chance to experience it just the way it was. Very good food and definitely worth the long drive for me since I live down south in the Homestead area!

The food is pretty good. But it’s pricey. For example, dinner on a Sunday night is $ 21.95 each. Another nearby location with equally good food is only $ 13.49 each.

Sinju is a buffet restaurant serving sushi and other seafood, hot Chinese dishes, and hibachi. Everything is excellent. I’ve never had any problems with freshness. The staff is friendly and helpful. At dinner, the raw bar includes oysters, large peel and eat shrimp, and crab legs. The sushi includes sashimi. Lunch is less expensive, but doesn’t include the oysters, crab legs, or sashimi and the shrimp are smaller. It’s still a good deal. My only complaint is that sometimes they take a while to put out a new plate of sushi after the last piece is gone. I love the rainbow rolls, but they disappear quickly.

I’ve only been to this location during lunch. If you have been to any of the Shinju restaurants you will know that they offer paired down choices for lunch vs what they offer for dinner. The cost is cheaper during lunch(I think it is $ 12.95 per person). They offer sushi(many types of rolls and traditional fish on rice), hot foods, hibachi grilled foods, desserts and ice cream. Their fish is very fresh but I really like the hot foods. My favorite hot food that I like is their coconut shrimp. I do like how this location is set up, the dining rooms are smaller and spread out with the food centrally located. For the money, there is no better deal for a good sushi buffet.

Too much differences between the restaurants of this franchise. I like the one in Aventura… But I miss definitely sashimi at lunch time… It used to be my favorite sushi restaurant … No sashimi for lunch… Common guys

Arguably the BEST Japanese Buffet Restaurant in So. Florida. The food is always fresh with a large variety of choices. Plenty of seating available and excellent service. Reasonable prices considering the amount of food that’s available. Highly Recommended. You will not be disappointed.

I was craving some hibachi and this place had some good reviews. Although they do not have hibachi tables, they do have a flat grill where you can literally fill your plate with your choice of meats(chicken, shrimp, and steak), and veggies. Then, you give it to the cook and he cooks it fresh for you and adds all the good stuff, butter, garlic, and any other kind of sauce you’d like. Meats are all fresh and everything did taste very good. I wasn’t too impressed with the sushi though. Since this is a buffet, I did steer away from that. They do have the sushi chefs making them fresh so they might be ok. The other buffet items were pretty good. Nothing too special. Ice cream choices were vanilla, chocolate and green tea. I tasted them all and none were very good. The chocolate from the chocolate fountain was weird tasting. Not sure what kind of chocolate was used. Overall, the only thing that was good was the hibachi style food. Restaurant was pretty clean and smelled great. Service was great, very attentive waitress. Not sure I would return though.

Our first time here. Went here for dinner. Food was okay. I tried quite a bit of the sushi & it was okay too. By okay, I mean that it didn’t have that freshness that melts in your mouth. Didn’t compare to another buffet that we went to a few days ago. I tried the hibachi as well. I threw a little bit of everything in there. The flavor was tasty & the shrimp was good. Unfortunately, both the chicken & beef was tough. The veggies tasted good. Miso soup was good. Salad was fresh. Fruit were fresh. Ice cream was soft & icy. Almost like it was melted & they were trying to re-freeze it & it was halfway there. Absolutely awful. I left it after tasting it. Crab legs were tasty but over ice. I prefer them warm. My son’s meal was way overpriced(he’s 6 years old). $ 10 plus his apple juice 2.50. So $ 12.50 + tax for chicken nuggets & French fries & juice(he doesn’t eat anything else). This price is way too high for any 6 year old. So after trying quite a bit, I’m on the fence about this place.

This was the wrong review — sorry about that — I do remember the experience was so miserable — I starts writhing it at the table — but never got to finish… It posted yesterday — and thanks to everyone who called it to my attention — in this case it seems to be a «ASO» Error — App Superior to Operator Error ;) Happy Hunting and eating!

Of all Japanese buffets in South Florida, Shinju is the only one I trust. No, I probably shouldn’t, but I do. There are plenty of pros about this place, but one big con. The biggest pro about this place is the hibachi. You choose all your ingredients, hand it to the hibachi guy, and he whips it up for you right before your eyes. Its great! You choose how much protein and how much of the veggies you get and their selection is pretty great. The sushi selection is vast and there is something for everyone, even people who don’t really like seafood. The other stations are… alright. I cant get enough of their grab rangoon but some of the other selections don’t really look appetizing. The ice cream is a big plus! Some of their other desserts are also amazing. The service is great! These servers are on top of their game because they don’t have to serve any food, so they make sure your drinks are always topped off. Now, I can’t leave out the fact that everytime I leave here, I usually have a stomach ache within hours and am glued to the toilet seat. Gross, but its true.

This is overall a great restaurant with actually really good quality — especially for a buffet. I tried a lot of the sushi and sashimi. I went with a bunch of my friends to try out because of seeing the reviews here. My favorite was the sushi and the boiled shrimp was super fresh! I would definitely come here again– awesome price for the selection and quality!!! My friends had a lot of the hot bar and loved the crab rangoons as well as the teppanyaki. We had watermelon green tea ice cream, red bean ice cream, and some cantaloupe.

Shinju offers a good variety of Asian cuisine mainly Japanese and Chinese preparations. For $ 11.65 you can get an unlimited assortment of sushi, hibachi grill, Chinese dishes and desserts. The sushi at this location has improved in the last couple of years. We typically go there for office lunch parties in groups of 8 or more and the service has been good and more recently it has improved. The Japanese salads have a decent variety. The grill line can be long during lunch hour here but worth the wait. Overall good experience and good value for money.

All you can eat sushi? All you can eat hibachi? Yes please. Sure, the quality isn’t as high as what you would find at a swanky seafood/sushi restaurant, but that’s to be expected when you’re only paying $ 13 – 15. With that being said, I’d still argue that the sushi here is better than I’ve had at other restaurants including RA. Everyone has their favorite rolls, but with the large variety they have here, I’m sure you’re bound to satisfy your sushi craving. In addition to the sushi and hibachi, they have a decent offering of your traditional Chinese buffet items. As is the case with most(all?) Asian buffets, the dessert selection is pitiful.

Everyone needs to try this place! Seriously. It is the best sushi and Mongolian Grill buffet that I have ever been to. We are from Arizona and actually ate here for a. Family reunion lunch and it was so good that we went back the very next day for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised to see that they had crab legs added. The sushi is fresh and tasty, but my favorite was the Teppan-Yaki Grill where they make your plate from fresh ingredients. Make sure to tip these guys, they are great! For reference I am half Korean, and I know my Asian food and this place is definitely worth the visit. If I actually lived nearby it would have to be a once a week stop. Now go try it!

Saturday for lunch, we arrived around 2:15pm, there were just a few tables availavable, we seated immediately. As a buffet it was very clean and organized. Food was fresh, a lot of types of sushis, best of them they were not just a bunch of rice. My husband eats a lot seriously, so he almost tried everything. From the Hibachi Grill he first ordered shrimp and he loved it, after that he ordered some red meat like churrasco it was lack of flavor. Fried shrimp, spring rolls and mongolian steak were delicious. The dessert table was great too, usually desserts in buffet are un tasty but the tiramisu and the brownie were awesome. $ 34.00 for a buffet lunch for 2 was reasonable with all that sushis and seafood.

If heaven was a Japanese buffet, it would be this place. It was absolutely amazing, I went during dinner time and the price did increase by about $ 10 from lunch to dinner but it was definitely worth it. The sushi was delicious, fresh, and high quality — not chewy at all and the seafood was perfect. There were about 30 or 40 different rolls and they were all fantastic, I can eat there all day long :) The rest of the Japanese food looked mouth watering and tasted better than it looked if that was even possible. They had a very wide variety and none of the foods were hit or miss as in other buffets. The non-Japanese food was just as good as Everything else and the deserts were scrumptious. The service was phenomenal, our plates were gone, drinks were refilled and tables cleaned each time we went to get more food and the waitress stayed nearby.

Es limpio y como es buffet puedes comer todo lo que quieras. Los roles no son tan ricos o variados. Tienen una plancha donde cocina al momento Teppanyaki muy rico.
