To tell the truth this place is really amazing, a little gem. The atmosphere is very cozy and familiar, We always sit outside and to be honest in spite of being in front of a street is fairly quiet and enjoyed eating outside. I have tried most of the dishes, for starters always choose la Papa a la Huancaina with an additional portion of Salsa Criolla and you cannot miss the rocotto and tartar sauce, if you want to try something really different you have to try la Yuca a la Huancaina, it is really delicious, or you can opt for la Jalea Mixta. The ceviches and tiraditos are excellent, whatever you ask is always fresh and really good, and with a pisco Sour you will complete your special visit

Little gem! This place is very authentic and welcoming. The owner comes around each table and asks how things are. A staple of a good restaurant. I’ve been here on Saturday nights at 8:30pm and even tho is always busy, there always seems to be a table available. Food wait time is decent for a delicious meal. For fast food, go to a drive thru. And is not too extensive a wait either. I suggest trying their passion fruit pisco sour. The cinnamon takes this to the next level. Have ordered the Chaufa de Mariscos, beef and chicken saltado, ceviche classico, and ceviche de mariscos: always fresh tasting and on point with the flavors. One of my bff’s is Peruvian and she eats food WITH her salt, this place definitely does not suffer from this Peruvian affliction(she luv’s her salt). You will not be disappointed!

As a Peruvian’s lover cuisine, me and my lady have come across many Peruvian restaurants, but till now have NOT find a better place than this one, as far as quality of each of the ingredients in each dish, especially ceviche, I mean all the ceviches are just amazing. My personal favorite Ceviche Mixto. This is the only place that prepares food fresh from the start, and I know because I’m highly allergic to shrimp, and this only place that can make a ceviche Mixto without shrimp. The attention is exceptional everytime! What do I recommend from the menu??? Everything! And don’t forget the amazing homemade desserts! Maracuya mouse or 3 leches!

This place is house of the most incredible«vuelve a la vida» or «back to life» ceviche. I have tried this everywhere and there is no other like it. That is a must, just like the«jalea» or mix deep fried seafood, «quinua chaufa of mixed seafood», and everything else they do. Everything is always super fresh, delicious, and a taste just like if you were back in Peru. These 2 brothers, who are always working their backs off, provide a unique, charming, and family atmosphere. Don’t miss it! You’ll thank me later ;)

As a Peruvian, I’m always looking for high quality Peruvian food. This is definitely the place to go. Vuelve a la vida & seafood quinoa chaufa are my favorite. This restaurant is a must! Don’t miss out on the Pulpo Anticuchero; these people know how to cook octopus!

The ceviche Classico was great, place kinda small but well decorated and cute. Service was horrible, the waitress didn’t check on our table, I asked for choros a la chalaca and they where packed with onions and American corn.(Peruvian choros have to have Peruvian corn and not a whole onion per choro) when I told the waitress about it she told me that’s the way they made them there and was rude about it. I asked to exchange it for another ceviche clasico and it came back totally different from the first one(not as great) This place has so much potential but the staff won’t make it happen with their attitude. They will also include an 18% gratuity so I guess that why they don’t really care about the service they provide.

A great place to eat ceviche. Met some«old» friends from Atlanta on vacation for the holidays and I from New Orleans. I had the octopus ceviche, on December 28, 2015, and went back today, January 1, 2016. A very good place to eat and reasonable priced. Their fresh juices are a little bit overpriced, but overall a great place to eat.

The Jalea was very good, with lots of creamy yuca. Very disappointed with the arroz con mariscos… rice should not look like risotto or mash potatos and the«Mariscos«part was 2 mussels and a bunch of calamari rings. Ceviche was good but it lacked flavor. Overall prices do not match quality or quantity at all.

We were meeting up with a friend that we haven’t seen in five years. he recommended this place so we met up… parking lot is hectic, so be warned… but luckily we were able to find a spot with ease. We got a table and after reviewing the menu for over 10 minutes, we went with the following items… — Juerga de Ceviche — 3 flavors — Chaufas — Mariscos(seafood) — Seafood Fried Rice — Tallarines Verdes con Churrasco Pasta Pesto — Skirt Steak I had ceviche before, but this was first time having that I would say would be more authentic(newbie to ceviche, so I could be wrong)… We did family style and enjoyed the food we ordered. The ceviche was excellent, the seafood fried rice was excellent as well… and of course you can’t go wrong with skirt steak… however I wasn’t a fan of Pesto Pasta. I would definitely revisit here and try other offerings they have. Service was great, food came out quickly and we left full and satisfied.

I love this place. The décor is marvelous and the customer service is outstanding. The seafood is always fresh and delicious. I enjoy the mixed and next trip will try something different. I’m usually not a creature of habit but the mixed is wonderful. The staff makes you welcome and shows that they appreciate your business. The servings are large and the price is good.

When I have a hankering for ceviche, this is the place I hit up. Portions are hefty and I’ve never left hungry. So far I’ve had their: Ceviche Classico — white fish in a cilantro/lime mix. Honestly, I love this dish. Simple, tasty, healthy. Ceviche Mixto — a wider variety of seafood(white fish, shrimp, mussels, calamari). I love all the fixings they put into their ceviche(crunchy hominy, soft hominy, sweet potato — which is a must if you get the ceviche spicy) Papa al la Huancaina — potatoes in cheese sauce. A definite must have at all times for my sister and myself. I don’t know how they make the cheese sauce but I can slather that thing on everything. Calamares — they actually have real chunky pieces of octopus in this dish. It’s both crunchy and chewy, and actually quite filling as an appetizer. Sr. Ceviche Sampler Platter — for $ 55 you get enough food for 3 – 4 people. I swear my sister and I were over zealous when we ordered this and a ceviche on the side. It came with lomo saltado, papa a la huancaina, yuca a la huancaina, pescado a la plancha(grilled fish), causa de pulpo al olivo(cold potatoes and octopus), and chaufa de pollo(chicken fried rice). I think this is the best deal they have and everything was great. Any of their fresh juices — I personally like to add milk to the juices I order. It just transforms the drink and brings it to the next level of deliciousness. Plus it helps tone down any spicy dishes when the heat gets too much. This place does get busy during peak hours, weekday or weekend. But it’s totally worth the wait. Everyone is super friendly and attentive. Overall a great casual dining experience.

I had a hankering for some ceviche and had Sr. Ceviche bookmarked for months. I decided to give them a try & see if all the stars they had were warranted. I placed a to-go order for a classic ceviche mixto which usually consists of cured fish(usually tiliapia or corvina), cancha corn, choklo corn & sweet potato. In order to determine the authenticity of a Peruvian establishment, this is the dish that sets the tone. I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Being that they are less than 10 minutes from my house, I waited a bit before heading over to pick it up. The restaurant is located in a strip mall a few doors away from the Dunkin’ Donuts. Parking is limited and I can only imagine how busy it can get when it’s dinner time. Lucky for me, it was 4pm and not many cars to maneuver around. The restaurant is clean and bright with white and green interior. The wait staff were dressed in black pants and pressed white button down shirts, giving a professional look. I love the fact that even though their in a strip mall they still dressed as if it were a restaurant at the Fontainbleu! The pickup process was straightforward and timely. They take American Express cards, a step up from most small restaurant establishments. I took the ceviche home and it didn’t stand a chance. Medium sized chunks of fish with ample lime juice, corn and sweet potato were found in my to-go container. The flavors were right on the money and solidified them as a true Peruvian restaurant. I look forward to going back and dining in to try some of their other authentic dishes. Buen Provecho!

Came to breakfast on Sunday morning. We had the Desayuno Lurin, which is a traditional Sunday Peruvian breakfast. The plate consists of a tamale stuffed with chicken, fried pork chunks and thinly sliced sweet potatoes. I’ve had this about 4 times in my life and each time I love it just the same. The food is incredible and leaves you more than full. Also had the pescado saltado, which is more for lunch and dinner, but I couldn’t resist. The pescado saltado is well seasoned diced fish in a sauce with spices and mixed with onions and French fries and served over rice. Overall, the ambiance is modern and homey, staff is very attentive and polite. Will be coming back many more times.

Food and drinks were awesome in this place. Drinks: CHICHAMORADA(made from purple corn, yes its actually purple corn that grows in Peru), LUCUMA(a thick juice mixed with milk), and MARACUYA(passion fruit juice). Entrees: PESCADO A LOMACHO, right on point with also some shrimp, calamaris, clams and shrimp. The LOMOSALTADO is great if you want to go with something traditional. The cut is perfect, very tender, not chewy like other places, fries were crispy and the sauce is just perfect. I would recomend the CAUSAWITHLOMO, a non traditinal fusion. To give you a an idea is like having a LOMOSALTADO with MASHEDPOTATOS instead of the white rice. But its not the mashed potato you are used to, these are made from peruvian potatos, a whole better taste than your idaho potatos. you cannot go wrong with this. FINALLY ‚.even tho it is not on the MEnu, they accommodate KIDS. Ask your server for the kids dishes, which are the usual chicken tenders, fries and couple others. Definitely coming back.

My family just had lunch here and we had ordered Ceviche Classico & Ceviche Criollo. It was DELICIOUS! Their chicken fried rice was good too. For dessert, we tried their flan(not your usual south Florida flan) which was real yum. Next one was a Peruvian fruit mousse. It was different but worth a try. I gave them 5* for their cheerful service and clean interiors. Don’t get disheartened by their rugged exterior and the strip mall. You will not be disappointed by the food and service.

5 star rating for the cerviche, 3 star rating for the rest of the food. If you love cerviche, I would highly recommend coming to Sr. Cerviche. I have had the Cerviche Classico a couple of times. The portion is big and the flavor is out of this world. You can specify the amount of heat you desire. I always ask for«medium» and the taste is always perfect. The portion is so big that it really can be a meal. Not normally being a cerviche lover husband ordered the Cerviche Tropical. Having a bit of a sweet tooth, he really liked it, although the sweet marinade was not my cup of tea. There are actually many other types of cerviches and tiraditos available but I do not know if I will ever try them since I love the Cerviche Classico so much. The entrees we had were fair. I ordered the Pescado a la Plancha. I liked the seafood that topped the fish in this dish. The shrimp and calimari were cooked perfectly. The top of the fish itself however, was very tough. You had to get past that layer to get to the little bit of moist fish underneath. The rice was a bit hard. Husband ordered the Churrasco a lo Pobre. He said the skirt steak was good but he has had better. Service was very attentive. It was late with only a few other customers there so our server kept coming by to see if everything was okay, despite his interest in the soccer game on the televisions. I did find the televisions a bit disconcerting. It is a small place and there are televisions on both walls playing loudly. I know the game may interest much of the clientele(and apparently the staff!) but I was more into quiet conversation at the tine. I will definitely be back though, whenever I am in a cerviche mood!

I love ceviche. For 12 bucks, you can get a dreamy bowl of the Cerviche Clasico, which is just the right amount of spicy with a generous portion of fish. It also comes with a cinnamon yam. One of my friends loves the yams, so we asked for an extra portion once to pair with the fish, and they were super accommodating. I’ve also had the Parihuela, which is a type of seafood soup, which is also very good and a large portion. However, between the two, I prefer ceviche. This place is legit. It’s pretty unassuming from the outside, and seems to attract a lot of families(hint, there will be a screaming child at some point during your meal). As a non-Peruvian, I can’t gauge if the taste is authentic but it’s definitely some of the best I’ve ever had. The only sadness I have is not frequenting this place more despite having lived in Broward for almost 2 years now. This place is delicious and I definitely recommend if you want to try something unique in Broward County!
