First off, I am not a fan of visiting the doctor and especially hate hospitals!
But this was by far the best visit I had to a health care provider, bar none.
My wife recommended Dr. Spatz when I developed a large bump on the back of my head on a Saturday morning (at least that is when I noticed it). I only had seen 2 other Dermatologists on 2 different occasions for unrelated problems and was not happy with those visits (long waits, 1^st visit = multiple visits for tests, follow-​ups, etc.).
I called & left a message Monday morning and they were able to get me an appt within an hour. I arrived early, filled out the obligatory paperwork. Office staff was very polite & professional on the phone as well as in person.
Appointment was at 9:30 and they called my name at 9:30. I maybe waited for 5 minutes in the room for Dr. Spatz. When he came in he was very professional and friendly. He provided his assessment based on physical observation & no additional tests. He gave me a course of treatment very quickly (e.g., prescription). He provided reassurance that it was not serious and I was out of the office in 15 minutes. He told me to schedule a follow-​up and if the cyst is better then just cancel the appt so that I «don’t waste» my time taking off from work. The guy actually cared about my time?! Blown away.
Since the visit 2 days ago, my cyst has decreased significantly and it looks like I will cancel the appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Spatz! I wish I could use him as my primary doc.

I feel weird writing a review on a Dr but I just have to let you all know that this guy and his staff are great. They don’t make you wait for weeks to get in (normally only a day’s advance is needed). They are very efficient and cordial.
And best of all, Dr. Spatz is thorough, helpful and treats you with great concern. He’s a gentle soul that always makes you feel like he is taking the best care to be sure you stay healthy.
