The Elite Barbershop

Shop is beyond legit. Omar is the owner and is running a very well kept shop. Personally I get my cuts with Leo and he’s phenomenal but any barber in the shop could get you right. Highly recommend this for anyone trying to get a top of the line cut for the low.

Not kid friendly !! I usually do not write a review but the unprofessionalism that I experience prompted me to write this review. Not all barbers at the shop work with the same customer service skills. I hate to group them all together but one bad Barber is a representation of them all. A parent has the right to explain to the barber how they would like their kids hair to be cut. If the barber gets offended then they’re in the wrong business. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back a second time and that experience was worse than the first.

Good cuts. Urban feel, and Chill Vibe. The prices are fair, and they have cool barbers on staff. Definitely a nice small business to support the local Pembroke Pines area.

Found this place on Unilocal and it was a good find. It’s a bit hidden towards the back of the plaza, but it’s very simple to get to. Plenty of parking. Rich was very professional and courteous. I definitely recommend this shop.

Oh the wonders of using Unilocal in my hometown. where one persons review actually holds the weight to determine if a business stays alive or not.
I’ll state for the record I’m not exactly the barbershop guy. my long luscious locks are touched only by those of a hair salon. Nonetheless, had a ten year high school reunion and had to look fly to death. Unfortunately, my beard was fairly gnarly and I was informed my head unkempt.
Having a quasi panick attack about being judged by people I hadn’t seen in 10 years. hopped on Unilocal to find a local barber. 6 barbers in my neighrborhood with a total of 1 review. (Ended up picking this one due to its close proximity to Fresh Market. love seeing cougars in SUV! Rawr.)
Let’s call a spade a spade. I’m a white sub-​urb guy (although I’m in DC now), but when I walked in and heard old school Kanya/​3 Six on the P.A. I knew I stumbled onto a little piece of heaven. Place was extremely clean and well put together.
5 minutes from time I walked in, to time I sat. Didn’t catch the guys name, but took his time over 45 minutes to do my hair and beard. Props for putting the effort and time in. not many do anymore.
Exchanged some stories, gave me shaving/​trimming tips, and relaxed the entire time. Everyone there’s licensed and knows their shit. Got out of there for 15 bucks with hair cut and shave … I think I’m missing something, was expecting to pay 30 – 40 ???

I take my 7 year old son here. Omar always has an appointment ready for him with minimal wait. He also engages my son in conversation. He now looks forward to his weekly haircuts.
