This would be considered a pretty expensive thift store. I didn’t find any weird smells or bad items. Everything is in pretty good taste. But not exactly what I was looking for. After spending a week watching HGTV I went on a thrift store savager hunt looking for items that I could purchase cheaply, DIY it up, and act fancy with«new» wall art. Like really… why tf was this place so expensive? Ok now that’s done. Don’t come here thinking«cheap» — instead think«unique»(at least when it comes to furniture. This place is awesome for those quick fix projects — make it your own thing, one of a kind finds. And the prices really aren’t THAT bad. And it’s organized extremely well. Not much digging and searching for items — everything is laid out pretty clearly. So if you don’t see anything you want. Walk out and try again later in the week. And that’s ok with me. Unless you are looking for clothes. I can’t help with that. I saw they had a huge collection, so if that’s your thing go dive in.

Honestly… a salvation army is a USED items store… U S E D… and abused!!! So they need to seriously check their prices! They have increased their prices to almost store prices! I saw a gap t-shirt for 4.99 …same price«new» at the gap last month! Walmart has better prices for NEW items!!! Give me a break! They sell their USED and abused men’s suits for 34.99! Seriously! I don’t care how good they are! They are still used and abused! Get a grip people! These items were«donated!» And I am sure they get a huge tax break on rent! Outrageous! Goodwill has way better prices, clothes are in better condition and their store doesn’t smell! Need to rethink those crazy prices … it ain’t Macy’s!!!

For a salvation army it’s pretty darn expensive, yes I realize that there are certain days that have specially marked items but even then it’s still pretty pricey. Used Nike boys shoes 16 dollars for them being«half» off? I mean they were used and scruffy looking, but I wanted them for my child’s outdoor activities. Too many clothes. Needs more furniture and at better prices! Too expensive for a thrifty store that’s aimed at people trying to stretch a dollar… I have been to thrift stores all my life growing up poor and have never came across prices such as these. Even the used wedding dresses are expensive! Throw out some clothes, expand the furniture area and get rid of broken and truly old(unusable) tacky junk!!! Price used items fairly. Open up more registers and get nicer staff. Clean up more(bleach/disinfectant) and get better lighting!

I just moved and somehow I did not bring my computer chair with me, I knew this thrift store has furniture so I dropped by. I came a little before 10 am and saw a huge line and couldn’t make out why at first. Once they opened the doors they were announcing it was Wacky Wednesday, meaning all clothes are 50% off. It didn’t affect me but it is a nice thing to know. To further elaborate this is the Cadillac of thrift stores. If you are looking for designer clothing items you will find them here. They also sell furniture, the furniture guys are helpful and nice. They will work with you on pricing which is fantastic. If I were to come in to buy clothes though, I will only do it on Wednesday, because compared to other thrift stores, these items are extremely over priced. At other thrift stores you can get items cheaper than here even after the 50% off. I can slightly understand, the store is located in an area where there is a good amount of donations of pricey items, but nonetheless the items are used and aimed for the poor, the high prices make very little sense.

I here killing time while I get my car fix and I think it’s the perfect time to do so. Do NOT come here if you are in a rush or looking for something in particular because you would get frustrated and just walk out. This store is huge and has everything from furniture clothes to kitchen appliances and movies. It’s fun to look around(being a Latina you are told never to use borrow try on used clothes that aren’t hand-me-downs from a family member none the less buy used clothes) so I just look at the furniture and jewelry. If you are creative it’s a great place to visit when you are ready to start on a new project. Take pieces and build something new, reprint it and use for something else. The store setup is pretty much organized by items like clothes on one side items on the other but you are not gona find anything in true order. Prices are super low so I suggest coming here before you go to Home Depot and see if you can find the pieces you are looking for, you might just get inspired to create something different.

My favorite store to shop!!! Grew up poor and still shop at the same stores. Love finding hidden gems. some people say it’s strange, but not to me. The sales are great. Wacky wed– 50% off on wed and sometimes on saturday mornings as well. Love shopping here and it benifits a great cause.

Truth is I am a closet case thrift store junkie. I enjoy them but don’t visit them often; so when I was coincidently parked next door to this shop I decided to take a glance. Problem was this thrift is so much bigger than most, so a «quick glance» wasn’t an option. About half the store is clothing and the rest was a mix of true junk(from VHS to tacky art to horrible furniture and oh so much more); but no hidden gems. I was there for those hidden gems(like beaten up furniture to refinish and appreciate). To appreciate the immense size of this Salvation Army location, this locale is housed in a closed down Room-To-Go furniture store(so yeah, it’s pretty big). The people are nice but the prices were way off for a thrift. They had a couple of items I was interested in but the prices quoted were non-negotiable and was not a fair market value. I’m sure the clothes and miscellaneous junk is cheap and good to assist those in true need, just not for me.

Despite Salvation Army’s Evangelistic persuasion, I do enjoy this thrift store. Unlike the SalvArmies in Tallahassee, this one is huge(this store used to be a Rooms2Go) and there’s always so much good stuff here and the prices are right. Parking sucks
