I also bought their LivingSocial coupon for my daughter’s 2^nd birthday party. When I called to book their services that I paid for, I was informed that they were all booked up for the day I planned my party. OH SNAP… this was about to get ugly. But then the lady on the phone told me to call back the next day while they tried to figure something out for us. I called back the next morning and the same person (Natalia) answered and told me not to worry, they would squeeze our party in. That sounded a little fishy to me, but I was glad they were accommodating. She asked me to email them with several details for the party and not to worry, it was booked.
Well, I emailed the requested information and requested that they respond to me to let me know they had received my email. No response. Then I sent a second email. No response. Needless to say, I started to worry. But within a week the same lady called me on my cellphone to tell me that she had received both my emails and had responded but wasn’t sure I was receiving her emails and decided to call me to reassure me. WHEW…
Well, the event was this past Sunday (happy birthday to my little girl!) and they delivered as promised. It was their first ever requested Peppa Pig themed birthday party so my stuff was truly ‘custom’ and it was beautiful! They were friendly, professional and responsive. And my guests loved the cake and cake pops — both for how they looked and how they tasted!
In short, I would not hesitate to use this company again.

Avoid hiring this company at all costs!!! I purchased a living social voucher which included the decorations for the cake table and the cake. While the balloons and linens were in the colors I had requested. The owner had indicated that she was going to provide further decorations in the color scheme I requested instead of green and pink I got an ugly brown and pink decoration that had to be hidden because it didn’t go with our scheme. Also we specifically ordered a cake and instead received a hideous whitewash cake. Our entire scheme revolved around the cake and was supposed to be the focal point of the event!!! The owner came into our clubhouse with a horrible attitude from the moment she walked in. I’ll post pictures of what I expected and what I received to show the validity of my claim. Hope this doesnt happen to anyone else.

Wow, I could not believe my eyes when I saw the review posted in here. We as others also purchased the deal thru LivingSocial and even upgraded the package later on. The Party turned out fantastic one my daughter will always remember. The Secret Recipe as well as their staff were amazing, they guided us from planing to execution and everything turned even better than what we were expecting. Every one that came to our party was blown away they did such a great job. They are very reliable. The food, and my favorite Candy Station was amazing. My daughter loved the cake and the mermaid theme. And when she saw the mermaid arrived… I will never forget the look on her face. It’s memories like those that are priceless and The Secret Recipe made that possible thru out the entire party. From decoration, to food it was all perfectly executed. I will definitively recommend, and can tell you that we will be using them again in the future.
This Company is amazing and I will say THEY ROCK!!! I would not have been able to do a party for my little one the way they did. It was even a better deal than If I was going to DIY. Believe me we priced different options and this one was the BEST OPTION you will not go wrong with The Secret Recipe Call them today THEY ROCK!
