Right off the interstate. Service was really kinda slow on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Each order ahead of mine was wrong. I waited 10 minutes to place my order, then waited 18 minutes to receive the order. Dining-in customers kept returning wrong orders. While I waited, I wasn’t really paying attention, till I heard the term, ‘driveaway’ spoken. There were at least 3 while I waited. The crew leader in the kitchen was doing his level best to provide quick service, but there was a certain disconnect with the person running the cash register. I believe he referred to her as the manager. Honestly, the crew leader was probably the most knowledgeable person behind the counter and did a bang-up job. The girl running the drive thru didn’t really do much besides take the order, process the money, and hand out the food. She could have helped more, if asked to do so. When you figure that I waited nearly a half-an-hour to begin eating, this certainly was not a ‘fast-food’ experience. As much as I dislike McDonald’s, there is one next door and there wasn’t any kind of wait at all(as I watched from my window-side booth). Maybe I’ll go there next time.
