As soon as you walk through the doors, you are warmly soothed with a hint of aromatherapy that relieves and relaxes all of the tension in your body. The wonders of aromatherapy! I was pleasantly greeted at the desk and roamed through the cosmetic products for sale in the lobby as I waited to be taken to the spa area. They offer tea, water, and coffee in the lobby, which has a nice view of the outdoor patio for spa clients. The locker room was clean and simple with two showers and everything you need was provided. Robes and sandals are in each locker; key provided so that you can lock up your gear. The downside of the women’s locker room setup is that the lockers are directly across from the door so if you’re changing and someone opens the door, you could potentially flash anyone in the spa waiting room area which is directly outside. I think they try to minimize this by hanging a curtain outside the waiting room. So far I’ve been here for three services — the signature spa pedicure, a prenatal massage, and a couples massage. The pedicure was just okay for me. This service had all the bells and whistles. There were a lot of things involved like soaking, clipping, shaping, massaging, and moisturizing. I rarely get pedicures so when I have one, I prefer extra cleaning and exfoliating to happen. This service will be enjoyed by one who prefers relaxing more than anything else. The polish selection that is displayed is limited compared to nail salons I have been to and the final outcome was okay. I’ve had much better polishes. My prenatal massage was wonderful and Jessica was great. She happily adjusted her pressure and worked bothersome areas as requested. An awesome bonus of getting a prenatal massage here(the main reason I came here) is the pregnancy pillow. That’s right, mommies-to-be, you can lay on your stomach and get the full back massage! It’s a rectangular soft foam, a foot+ thick and about the length of your torso, that has concave holes where your belly and breasts would be. It’s a one-size-fits-all kind of deal so it may take a few minutes to adjust to it. I came here again for a couples massage(Swedish), postpartum, and had the same masseuse and delightful, relaxing experience. I would recommend this place for the massages.

This place is heaven! I came here on my birthday for a body wrap, facial, and massage. I couldn’t stop dreaming about coming back ever since, and yesterday I finally had a chance to come back for the same services. The staff is always so welcoming and they make me feel super relaxed for every second of my time at the spa. Both times I went, it was never crowded and I had the entire relaxation lounge to my self before, between, and after services. They had tons of healthy snacks, hot water, multiple teas, and fruit infused water. I also had the locker room to myself most of the time, which is nice. The services are amazing and I think that you get a lot of value for the price. My favorite is the detoxifying thai wrap. I always feel like royalty here and I can’t wait to go back!

This spa was able to accommodate a last minute appointment. The facial aesthetician was really knowledgeable about products. She did not, however, know how to give a massage. I understand that some aestheticians don’t like to use pressure on your face, but it felt like she was tickling my hands, arms and neck during the rest of the treatment. Furthermore, the aesthetician, who I’d never seen before, tried to sell me a $ 300 skin care treatment package. I’m no stranger to having product pushed on me(and I did purchase a facial cleanser), but I thought she had quite a bit of moxy to look disappointed when I said no to such an expensive skin care line.

Now this was a spa experience! I wish I hadn’t made plans for the afternoon following my massage because I would have stayed just to relax in my robe, drink lemon-infused water and read countless magazines. But for the time I spent at Spa at La Bella, I thought for just a moment that this was a regular activity in my life — no stress. The main reason I went here was a Groupon massage deal I purchased. It was so worth it — I cannot wait to book a full spa day for my next visit. You walk in and instantly feel calm with the subtle waterfall wall and sounds of nature music in the background. So typical of a spa but I love it! After changing into my personal robe and sandals, I sat in the spa waiting room to enjoy some tea before my massage. The masseuse was wonderful — always discreet and quiet. She focused on the spots I told her were tense, relaxed all the knots in my shoulders; I was mush afterwards(that’s a good thing!). And, now after writing this review I think I’m going to call to make an appointment…

Talk about luxury. From start to finish, a trip to La Bella is pretty glorious… lemon water, tea, coffee, comfy robes and lots of opportunities to relax(including fully stocked showering facilities) that being said, you are definitely paying for that luxury. Here’s a run down of the prices: — basic facial $ 85 –hair cut $ 50 –50mn massage $ 85 –manicure $ 26 But you can afford it, go. It’s a really fun experience, especially if you go with a friend. They do take cancellations VERY seriously. You have to give them a credit card number to make the appointment and they charge it if you cancel within 24 hours. I got the basic facial and really enjoyed it. Though my esthetician lacked a little in the personality department and didn’t really explain to me what she was doing, me and my skin definitely enjoyed it.
