June’s Cafe & Deli

The owner is incredibly kind and the baked goods are always delicious.

Cute place, fresh homemade sandwiches, waffles, and other breakfast and lunch options including Chinese (!). Drinks include coffee /​tea options and floats, milkshakes, etc. Nice homey feel, Family business.

If your in a hurry and don’t care what you get go there. If you care about what your coffee tastes like go somewhere a else. And be prepared to deal with the intrusive owner and the old crowd from lake wildwood.

You can’t ask for a friendlier June to welcome you and chit chat with you like she’s known you for years. Great breakfast sandwiches and lattes!

I got very sick after eating one of her sandwiches. She licks her fingers while making food, handles money and goes back to making food without washing hands. Also, the slowest service you could possibly imagine! Wish we could have a real deli on Holiday market.

I love this place! I’ve been coming here since I was 7 (22 now). The food is always great and there is no denying that the shop is adorable. I think I lived on June’s greek salad and chef salad for years. Now I’ll be able to bring own son into June’s. Multigenerational deliciousness

The owner June is the best. Sandwiches are always fresh and she has some awesome brownies and cookies. The food is always fresh and always served with a smile. I recommend it to everyone. Great Job!

I visited this deli a few days ago. I noticed it as I was walking into Holiday market. The owner, June, was so friendly and helpful. We had a really great conversation with her. She is so funny and personable. Other local merchants should take note of how to treat customers!
I will be going back very soon!

LOVE this place. June is the sweetest, most down to earth lady ever. She makes you feel welcome and right at home from the moment you step one foot into her establishment. I would go there ever day if my schedule allowed!

In a word: superlative.
I just ate here for the first time and I assure you it won’t be the last! Simple fare, but I’m here to tell you that this was the best turkey sandwich I’ve had this side of Dear old Mom’s home cookin.
The home made sourdough made it. Worth EVERY penny.
One word of warning, though; the owner, June loves little girls so if you bring your little sweetheart, be prepared to stay and chat for a bit… lol.

Simple menu. Fresh salads and sandwiches. Ladies behind the counter are very friendly. If you are ever in the Grass Valley area, take a 15 minute road trip to Penn Valley. It’s worth it

June is so friendly and the food is so good! I lived the clam chowder and sourdough toast. Best soup I ever had! My sister loved her teriyaki rice dish, love love this place!

June’s is the hub if the café. An enthusiastic, positive personality who make the experience worthwhile. You never leave her extablishment without having her pack something ‘extra’ to take with you.

You will never be disappointed in going here, June is amazing!!! I would die if she ever went out of business.

This will be quick and simple. The small memory I have of this place eating here several years ago with my mom and eating the most delicious and SOFT sandwich I had eaten a long while.
The bread was fresh and all of the toppings were perfectly proportioned. Mainly though, the soft delicious bread with mayo is what reminds me of this place. Very, very good sandwiches.

We are from out of town and come here every time we are here. My hubby and I love the bagel breakfast sandwiches. I dont know why they are so good from here because you could make them at home yourself but they really are special for some reason. They also have baked goodies, deli items (lunch sandwiches), and cool knick knacks for sale.

Today was the first time we have visited June’s. My husband and I are relocating to the area and were visiting the area to house hunt. We stopped over at June’s for a little Hot Chocolate and Mocha while we waited for our rental agent! She adored my daughter and was just the sweetest lady ever! We will be back in a month and I know that we will become regulars. I can’t wait to try the food. The hot chocolate and Mocha were delish!

What a pleasure it was to visit June’s! I’ve only been once, my first time being yesterday and she couldn’t have been nicer or cuter!
She is clearly not from this country (strong asian accent) but she has more small town charm in her little finger than in all of the other business owners in this area put together!
She chatted with us the whole time while making my daughter a sandwich and although she got the bread choice wrong, it didn’t matter because she sure made up for it in her happy and funny personality.
Oh and the shop! How cute! Lots of country items to purchase. From little kitchen knick knacks and tea towels to homemade pie fillings. Her shop is mesmerizing! So much to look at! I’m sure this is a favorite place with the locals as I always see a lot of people in her store. I never see it empty.
Her menu is quite extensive as well. She serves teriyaki bowls, lots of delicious looking soup choices, sandwiches for every taste and much much more.
Along with her «to live for» sandwich, we left with two complimentary delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies and a warm fuzzy feeling! We will most definitely be back for some more of Junes charm and hospitality! THIS is how to do business!
