My name is Ron. i travel. have lived in Austin Texas and Louisville Colorado. I know food and BBQ. First lunch today may 13, 2016 to go. Tried pulled pork, chicken and ribs. Im a coleslaw guy so wanted to try their coleslaw. The good news: Pulled pork and ribs(pork) were beautiful. Coleslaw was good., not great, The bad news and suggestions for Andy: Chicken is over priced. drop at least a buck. Never heard of pulled chicken. unless you have lines out the door screaming for pulled chicken take it of the menu. ALWAYS serve the BBQ sauce on the side in a cup unless asked to cover by customer(served with sauce slathered on). good news: Sauce was good, smokey, sweet with a little bite. coleslaw was warm. should have been chilled. chicken was good. difficult to do bad chicken. you’re competing with $ 7 whole chicken takeout at the grocery stores. Good job Andy. keep going…

Tried Andy’s for lunch and probably won’t return unless I’m starving. I tried the BBQ chicken which reminded me of any BBQ chicken you would get at a church picnic minus the flavor. Chicken was cooked, but it was extremely greasy. Potatoes lacked flavor of any kid, and Andy’s uses Bush’s beans which are nothing special. Wait till the Churches and fire departments do their BBQ’s before going to Andy’s.

Pros: — pulled pork was on point — generous quantity of meat — price is right($ 8.50 for pulled pork and two sides Cons: — They were out of multiple items(ribs, cornbread) — Mac salad didn’t have much flavor and tons of mayo. It was more like a mayo salad with a few elbow macaronis. — Bathroom was in a real estate office that looked like it had been long forgotten. Paper towels overflowed from the trash can. I doubt I will return.

Ive been here twice and and I and I’d like to give it 3.5 stars. The ribs have good flavor and are cooked well which I’d give a 4. Then I tried the chicken which i was was ok at best but not even close to the chicken they make at the Oaktleaf Bulk food store a few miles away. I talked to another person who said the brisket is amazing but at this point is hear say. Skip the sides the beans are straight out of a can(per the lady working there).

Good takeout for eight at the lake. Very good taste and quality. Chicken, ribs and pulled pork with corn bread, cole slaw and beans. Easy supper after a day on a boat. Delicious finger lakes wines to match. You can eat in without beer or wine. We enjoyed it on the porch.

My family enjoyed their meal, but I was disappointed by the lack of any sort of vegetable offered. Not even the pseudo-vegetable corn? My son says the ribs were very good, but his dad’s pulled pork better.

We stopped in after being on the lake all day and were thrilled to eat some of the best brisket smothered in a fantastically tangy BBQ sauce.

went a hour ago and got the brisket with potatoes and mac salad. i dont know if i just happened to visit on a bad day or what. one it was pretty expensive for only 3 small slices of brisket which would have been alright if it was good. the brisket was so dry it just broke apart and no i didnt mistake it being that tender it was deffinetly dry. the sauce tastes like it was from a bottle which would have been fine with me if the brisket hadnt been so dry. the mac salad tasted like and looked like they probably bought the big tub they sell at walmart once again i went for the bbq so if that had been good i wouldnt have cared. the potatoes where fine they werent dry or nasty and tasted pretty good with a little of the bbq sauce. i really wanted to like this so im giving it a three star because im hoping it was just a bad day or there brisket just isnt there best product. will try again when i have the money like i said expensive for the amount you get i understand you gonna pay your bills and your own wages but is high when i dont know if the food will be worth it. «Our BBQ restaurant serves five-star BBQ at a fast food price» really should be taken off there site i know i dont spend $ 10 for just enough food for myself across the street at mc donalds. if the owners read this i really dont mean to be harsh please take it as constructive criticism id love to come back and enjoy the food i just really did not this time.
