OK. I WAS THERE! For the GRAND REOPENING of Friendly Tavern. Here’s the skinny. Menu is limited but adequate for a Tavern. I suggest the Maryland Crab Soup. The portion I received was Scant for the price. I ordered the Seafood Combo. I’m used to more than 10 French Fries. The Crab Cake was Burnt. But the food generally was average diner food. Keep in mind this is a tavern. The Service was Excellent and the Staff was Friendly (no pun intended). The other side of the room was HOPPING! The crowd is Country Western and they were Elated that this place REOPENED! A mixed crowd packed the place on a Saturday at 5:30. The lights are dim, Beer is cold, and the Music is Loud! Line dancing was the Deal! The crowd aged from Mid-30’s to 70 years old. I’m Sure this place is going to be a Hit! The Friendly Staff informed me that Tuesdays Will be Rock N’ Roll Night!
