Detangled Salon and Spa

Just found my new salon. I went there with a Living Social voucher I purchased, and it was worth every penny. Christina highlighted and cut my hair. She was extremely friendly and helpful when deciding what to do with my hair. The owner is very nice as well. They were doing some remodeling, but it didn’t bother me one bit. There is a retro theme to the salon, and the décor is cute. I will definitely be returning for my next cut/​color.

I had partial highlights done and haircut by the owner. She and her partner we were super nice, but my highlights looked horrible. Did not match the current color and they were barely noticeable. It did not look if I had anything done! Haircut lasted less than 5 minutes too. I went to many salons in my life and this was the worst. I did not expect much, just wanted my hair to look good. As to décor, I did not like it at all, but that did not matter to me. I would not recommend this salon. Sorry!

Best salon I’ve been to since moving to South Jersey. I’ve tried out a handful of salons and was never blown away by the stylist or the salon itself. I knew as soon as I walked in the door and met Chelsea that I’d be a return customer. Retro décor, incredibly nice and accomdating staff and an excellent cut — this place is a gem and deserves 5 stars. I mean they offered me champagne for goodness sake!

There’s truly a reason why this salon has 5 stars on Unilocal.I was looking for cut and color asap and found this salon on Unilocal and figured i’ll give it a try. While the plaza the salon is on is not the most inviting, the salon itself is bright, airy, and clean with high ceilings and awesome décor. Everyone here is so friendly and not pretentious, which I love after visiting various other salons in Cherry Hill. Their prices are very reasonable for all their services. I had Lauren color/​cut my hair and she did a great job. I am going back to see her again next week. The owner is also very sweet and friendly — and in general, the salon has a great vibe. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I am super picky with my hair and they always are patient with me! I love that it’s always a inviting atmosphere! I have never had even the slightest issue! I highly recommend them!

I found Detangled through Living Social, and am so glad I did! I got highlights and a haircut, and the cut and color were exactly what I was looking for! The salon has such a great vibe, the staff seem like they’re friends, and don’t have that petty girl vibe like many salons seem to have. It’s not in a very high end shopping center, but the services provided rank right up there with the best of them. I’m so glad that I found a home base salon… although I got a good deal through Living Social, their prices are very reasonable considering the service that you’re getting. Another bonus is they carry «It’s a 10» product cheaper than what you’d get it for at Ulta (where I was getting it!) Seriously, leaving there with the cut, color that I loved, and the product I love too, it felt like my lucky day!

I came to this place after seeing it on living social for a hair cut and color/​highlights. My hair dresser was Lia and she did an amazing job! I have very log hair and every time
I get a hair cut the stylist always goes scissor happy, but not Lia, she cut it exactly how I wanted it. As for the color, it was a bit difficult because I previously used boxed dye, but Lia worked effortlessly to get my hair exactly how I wanted.
I would definitely recommend this place, it has a very chic vibe, extremely friendly staff and owner and they will do anything to make you happy!

A friend of mine had suggested this salon for hair/​make up for my wedding. Donna was absolutely amazing! I live on Long Island so it was a bit of a trip for me, but totally worth it. During my trial, Donna was great to work with and made adjustments where I wanted. She was able to perfectly replicated a picture I showed her of how I wanted my hair. The day of the wedding, her and Lia were on time and super professional. All of my bridal party and my mother loved how their hair and make up came out. I felt so beautiful on the day of my wedding and I am so incredibly happy with the way Donna did my hair and make up. She is a true professional who knows what she is doing! I would highly recommend!

a friend had suggested this salon for my wedding. They did an amazing job and exceeded my expectations. They came to the wedding venue which I loved, that way I wasn’t running around stressing about being on time. Donna (the owner) is so friendly and knows what she is talking about. I had a trial for my hair and make up a couple days before, but the day of the wedding I decided I wanted something completely different. Donna was extremely understanding and made the image I wanted come true. The salon itself is so unique with a great vibe!!!

I have been going here since they opened last year. The stylists are friendly and competent, and the prices are affordable. I just got tired of paying for the upkeep of glitzy, pretentious salons. I can get a good style here for half the price. This was a good find!

Donna is simply magical, I LOVE my new do! Her salon is very hip and comfy, you get a great vibe from the time you walk in the door! It was well worth the short 15 minute drive from Philly. I will definitely be recommending this salon to all of my friends and be returning for her amazing skills!

I went here for the first time today and loved everything about this salon. Donna the owner was very nice and Michele did a great job on my keratin treatment. She also gave me a complimentary hand and arm massage while I was processing.
Detangled offers complimentary flat ironing for the two days following your keratin. After 72 hours they will wash out the treatment and blow dry your hair — for free!
I’ve paid a lot more at high end places that never offered the follow up services.
Detangled is a spacious and laid back salon with no drama. I love that I can relax while getting pampered with out loud annoying music and high pressure atmosphere.
I’ll definitely be back.

I stumbled on to a great LivingSocial deal for this place. $ 49 for a haircut, gel manicure, pedicure, eye brow and lip wax. I thought it is too good to be true, but being new to the area and still trying to find new beauty spots I decided to try it. The shop is a one stop shop. They do everything from hair, nails, waxing, skin care, etc. The décor is super cute! Very retro vintage inspired. The place is clean enough. The owner (blanking on her name) was very friendly. She had a soft and delicate touch.
She did everything for me. On and they even have little snacks for you to have while your waiting along with a soda machine and a Keurig which was a nice touch. I noticed that she had upcoming events posted like Cancer support night or donate your hair for cancer patient day which I liked. The owner seems like a genuinely nice person who wants to make her clients have the best experience while under her care and also gives back to the community. Oh and she gave me a couple free stuff that under the service menu is called ‘value-​added’ or a complimentary service such as a paraffin.
I took starts away for 2 reasons. My appointment was for 10am. The girl who was handling my appointment (also the owner) was 40mins late. She said she is never late and did apologize for it about 3 different times, but it still took away from the overall experience. Second, when she walked in she had her dog with her. She explained that she had to bring her dog with her because she works 12hrs day and didnt have someone to leave the dog with. She said she normally does not bring her dog to work. I could understand that but still took away from the overall experience. The dog was small enough and for the most part well behaved (it still jumped on me 3 different times).
With all that being said, I would come back again and give the place a second chance. They have only been opened for about 4 months so I understand things are still getting settled. And we all have our days when we are late and cant find a babysitter. Like I said the owner and the other girl working there were very nice. I am opened to give them a second chance and actually look forward to it.
