Went tonight for dinner with the kids after a movie in Cherry Hill. Kat was our waitress and she was excellent have us lots if recommendations. The loaded tater tots were great. Excellent beer selection kids had fun playing the games, wanted to stay for the band but had the kids. Will absolutely be back.

This place would be better if they had more servers! 3 bartenders and one poor waitress working like crazy. Took way long for beers and food, and when the food arrived it was wrong but we ate it anyway after waiting over an hour for 2 burgers and a chicken cheese steak, which came out as beef. The old school games and juke box are fun. We had a groupon so I guess we should have been wary. There on a Friday around 6 pm. This is our second try and the results were the same.

We really want to like this place. A big room. Fun old school games. Shuffleboard. Ski ball. Bowling. Foosball. A bangin jukebox. Our five year old loves it. An above average tap list, although it’s not the list on their site. We have gone twice, using a great groupon, which should have been our warning. The service here is not slow. It is record slow. Two and sometimes three people behind the bar. One waitress, as nice as can be, struggling. A place like this, if we had beers, we could deal with a slow kitchen. But we spent most of our time with empty glasses. The wings, when they came, were ok. That’s all My wife’s chicken cheesesteak came out in beef form. She ate it because it took 70 minutes. My burger was so over cooked it was funny. Again, I ate it because at that point we had been there 2 hours. I was so hungry. No utensils for the slaw, so I can’t comment They have a great kids menu, and great games, a lot of hard working people who are pretty loaded. So think dive chuckee cheese. And, dang, they got my groupon wrong, I’m just realizing. Overcharged. We were so ready to leave, I guess I didn’t check

The wings are a must try, with the jug wings being so inconsistent, bobby rays is my 1st choice to go, if i dont feel like driving to the pic. Bobby also has a very competitive washer league on monday nights. He runs a 10 week league that is always welcoming new players or teams. His league has a 90−100% return and gives a free buffet occasionally, and drink specials for players. I played washers a couple years ago at a local bowling alley and there return was abour 50%. Would love to see more washer players come up and throw with us.

I’ve been in this place a total of 2 times. it’s just not my favorite. My ex boyfriend frequents this place, which is the reason I even went in here in the first place. I guess maybe there are a group of «regulars» here. The first time I walked in, we got stared at like we have medusa hair at 10 heads… Instantly making me want to exit. We did not stay long. A few years later(recently), I went back again… With my ex again, to meet my sister there for drinks. There was a holiday party going on so there were more people than usual. Service was good. The drinks were hella cheap. I’m talking about under 5 bucks cheap. That right there may have me go back. I’m not sure if there were specials going on or what, but the prices were appreciated. Still, not my crowd. If I was invited back, I may or may not go depending on my mood.

We had our company Holiday party at Bobby Rays Place. Great selection of craft beers, friendly and attentive staff, and good music and food.

This place has an extensive list of beer options. Came here on a date a couple of weeks ago… The boneless wings were yummy(stick to regular medium or hot, the other favors are a little weird), the pizza bites were scrumptious and the onion rings were just ok. Staff was friendly and courteous, service was prompt even on a busy night.

I rarely rebuy a groupon for a place because let’s face it, Groupon as a company sucks a fat one. And the establishments are hit or miss. Ok, miss, miss, miss, hit, miss. Thinking of busting out the fiancé’s account for a 3rd. It’s seriously a great deal for fantastic bar food and a great selection of craft beer. First time food was solid. Nachos and burgers are hard to screw up. 2nd visit let the bartender order for us. Got great beer, wings(stellar), calzone(amazeballs) and the man redid a burger(and ate the other half of my calzone). I think I paid 24 bucks or some crazy stuff for that groupon. Is Craig LaBan reviewing this place any time soon? No. Can you get a decent date night out for pretty much what you’d spend on a fat dude’s Papa John’s tab? Hell yeah. Even without the groupon, nice place with awesome bar games and a great atmosphere. Kids even love it here. We’ll definitely be back!!!

Came with friends and a groupon. Bartender was dismissive and never checked on us. Food was basic sub par bar food. My burger sounded good but the bun was partly frozen and ruined it. I will never come back even though the beer selection was good.

When you first walk in. The atmosphere is totally depressing. It is very gloomy and dim. Looks like a run down 1950’s bar. The bartender looks as if she doesn’t have a care wether you are here or not. This will be my first and last time here. Now i know why they have Groupons and advertise so much… Dont waste your time… This place is lame

Great little bar. We were lured in with a groupon which entitled us to 1 appetizer, 2 beers, and two sandwiches/burgers. This is a self-seating bar which was confusing when first entering. So we stood around for a little while until I asked one of the servers, because none of them approached us first. The food is typical greasy bar food that hits the spot when the mood arises. The beer list on the other hand is often rotated and they have many interesting options. The location is not near anything appealing but for a quick beer while in the area for errands Bobby Ray’s hits the spot.

Came here using a Groupon and so well worth it. When entering it was a pleasant open area with a large bar as well as plenty of tables. We chose the bar and the bar maid Victoria was helpful, friendly, and provided excellent service. With Groupon we got an appetizer with 2 craft beers of choice and 2 Sandwiches or Burgers. The food was served fast and hot and the taste was delicious. Must admit food won because serving sizes were plentiful. Even without Groupon their prices can’t be beat. Because it was our first time we were given tokens allowing us to visit again with a future discount.

Stopped in with a Groupon Deal about 6pm on a Saturday evening with the wife. Large Bar with plenty of tables. We chose the Bar. Victoria our bartender was very helpful and knowledgable about the craft beers. We ordered the mini panzarrotti’s as our appetizer. They were very tasty. I ordered the Southwest Burger ½ lb. 100% Beef topped with Crispy Bacon, Tangy BBQ sauce with Onion Rings & cheese. Very tasty and very filling. Flying Fish Pale Ale for my beverage. Wife had «The Jacoby» Sliced & Grilled Chicken Breast with Pepper Jack Cheese, Chopped Bacon and Ranch Dressing on a fresh baked roll. She said it was very good. Had to take half home. Big sandwich. She chose Guinness Stout as her beverage. Friendly atmosphere. Crowd was light. Check it out. Did I tell you Victoria was super friendly and nice. Wonderful Bartender!

This is a good spot that has all the makings of a good pub and restaurant, but it is just missing a few things to really make it «great.» I personally really like it and hope it finds what it needs to really become a cohesive and excellent local gem. I offer all the following as constructive criticism, but I would definitely recommend this establishment. FOOD: Their Texan burger, with an egg, is one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I ordered medium rare and I got medium rare — loaded with onion rings, pulled pork, barbecue sauce, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Messy and delicious. The buffalo chicken wrap was less transcendent, but still good(really good as far as healthier options go but not next level like the burger). Mini panzarotti were just fine, but could use more filling. Fries could be crispier. All in all — I was very happy with the food. DRINKS: Good craft selection. I was very happy to see a solid number of craft beer selections, representing different styles and breweries from all over. Nothing to complain about, except I’m concerned with freshness because I’m not sure if the craft beers turn over fast enough to keep the IPAs optimally fresh. PRICE: Simply cannot complain. Great specials, very reasonably priced. SERVICE: My wife and I ate at the bar. The bartender, Erica, was very friendly, attentive, and fast. What else can you ask for? DECOR: I wish this were a little better. The place is very big, but it feels like it could use a little refinement. More polished wood/furniture and a unified decorative scheme would go a long way to bring this place together. It’s hard to tell if this place is trying to be a blue collar, corner dive bar, or a hipper, local craft beer and gastropub. It straddles the line making it seem disjointed.

Bobby Rays is probably one of the better sports bars in Southern Jersey. In fact I take that back with the crafts, food, décor and other delights with an attentive well accommodating staff they provide you. This is the best option for all and anyone. Who wouldn’t appreciate that? That is kind of bold on my part, I know but their closest competition is a joke which I have been too, I am not going to name drop but it has to do with an «Eagle», and a color of a M&M not yellow but… Yea you should already have figured it out by now. Bobby Rays what sets them apart is not their dedication to the fine craft that is always in constant rotation, not the fact they are willing to accommodate to your needs, plus the fact that they have some great bartenders in Jenna, Brittany, and Victoria. I mention these 3 fine ladies, because these are the 3 I have dealt with the times I have been in here. What makes Bobby Rays so unique is they cater to everyone and anyone that attends. From the business man/woman who wants to escape that hustle and bustle, to the number one fan looking to explode while cheering on their team. Maybe its the camaraderie that brings everyone here, again who doesn’t like being a part of that? I know myself that its a great feeling to experience. The kitchen end of it is pretty much on point with whatever you order. I have had a few of their different, or unique types of burgers. They were ok, but their wings are the truth. Bobby can hold his own with this. I have also dabbled in the menu, trying out different types of bar fare. I will say this I did enjoy their pretzel sliders with cajun fries on the side. Their beers well, lets not kid ourselves Bobby again nailed it with great crafts on a constant rotation. They have 20+ crafts with what seems an endless sea of bottled beers to peruse from. Not to worry though not only are the beers in check they have great liquors to choose from. The beer aficionado in you, along with the libation gods will be satisfied with Bobby Rays . Quick Recap here Unilocalers: You have the J.B.&V. combination(Victoria, Brittany, and Jenna) along with the rest of the staff serving you. Great food, plenty of seating options, I almost forgot to mention 2 decks, plenty of TVs to capture your attention. Mix all that with a great environment and you have a winner. I know I will be back again at Bobby Rays.

Can’t help but review this place. Went once before and was very disappointed but decided to give it another shot today. The food is fine for bar food. The horrific bathrooms have improved for sure. The place has an above average craft beer selection, but how can I put this nicely… the bartender needs to talk, say hello, thank you, ANYTHING to make you feel welcome in an establishment. She tossed out drinks to us, didn’t say a word, and acted like we should leave. Very simple. We spend thousands on beer every year, but can’t stomach this place at all. Customer service was zero. Period.

A sweet deal Groupon brought me to this place from Philly. I like the crowd the ambience and the music! The service was great and the food was very good, we got the mini panzarrotti’s for an appetizer and they were delicious and we both got a burger which were very good, i’ve had better but nonetheless they were still very good. They had a very large beer list and their prices were very reasonable. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was because they were out of a lot of stuff which is annoying, but overall it was a fun upbeat place with good food good beers and good prices and I will definitely be back especially since they have outdoor seating weather permitting!!!

I would imagine that like the Irish Mile and Connie Mac’s, the vibe of this place changes depending on when you go. We went for lunch at this local bar on a rainy Saturday and it was pretty dead: there were a couple of regulars and three wild kids under the age of 10, slamming the skee balls, running around and being kids. I wanted to say(in my best old man voice): Hey you kids, this ain’t Chuck E. Cheese! Knock it off! Everyone seemed to know the bartender, who was back from college. She was very pleasant and accommodating, but seemed to having a tough day. The registers were on the fritz, the plumbers were working on the men’s bathroom that was broken, new menus were introduced(and not everything was in stock) and she got our order wrong. She was apologetic and re-made it and offered a free beer. While they do have a large selection of craft beers, many were in bottles. Full bar. Bar napkins promoted Jäger Spice, so I thought, sure, I’ll order one but was told«Sorry, we don’t have that. It’s bad advertising.» Okaaaaay. Burger was OK, a little mealy. Round bun was light and airy, which is good because they give you enough food for two meals. Fries had skin on and were cooked well, but over-seasoned with garlic salt, which you’re either going to love or hate. Coleslaw was good but too heavy on the mayo. Also ordered the half and half(half steak, half chickensteak), but would just go with chickensteak next time. Did not get a chance to try outdoor seating or the back deck, but I would imagine they’d be nice. Parking lot is angled spaces and difficult to negotiate. Should really be re-striped and one-way only.

Just went back for the first time in a couple yrs. They didn’t have the deck last time I was there. I’d say the place has improved. The interior is much the same, and the shuffleboard table looks to be in good shape. I appreciate this unexpected watering hole of interesting beers and tasty snacks.(Did you know there is a beer called Pennsauken Crick? and it doesn’t taste putrid, in fact rather tasty) Parking can be a pain to find. I was here on a Monday and had to circle a couple times before squeezing into what I hope was a valid parking area. I recall encountering a number of colorful characters when I stopped here after work several yrs ago. Again, it was Monday this time, so who’s to say really how much the patrons have changed. There was a pervy old man playing every pole-dance-esque song available on the jukebox. Kitchen closes around 10pm, I think.

Great off the beaten path bar with great service and Food! If craft beer is your thing, this is your spot! They have a pretty large selection to choose from… The burger menu is pretty damn creative too!!! Up there with Pour House and Zinbuger, but wayyyy cheaper!!! However, you get what you pay for… they’re good, but NOT the same. Although I would order again knowing what they are now… Great bar for watching games or being a bar jock! Note to the Owner: Better lighting on the pool table would do wonders!!! Other then that they have every Bar Game imaginable from what I saw… Including skeet ball!!! All in All, great spot that I’ll be back to I’m sure!
