Pinsetter Bar & Bowl

Went on a Saturday night too bowl. $ 5 cover fee JUST to walk in the door. Staff was rude, including the waitresses who couldnt be bothered. Needless to say I wont be returning.

Wings were great and crunchy– their suicide sauce isn’t that spicy, and the game was fun to bowl. Dope date nite spot.

It’s a really nice bowling alley! My date and I really enjoyed ourselves.

The bowling is good and they have a few decent craft beer bottles, but be careful when ordering the food. I ended up with my head over the toilet from eating the guacamole that came with the nachos.

I had the best time at Pinsetters last week. The place is relatively new, it looks like it has not fallen into that ‘old, sad bowling alley’ hole. I met my friend there at 7:30pm and as our lane was not yet ready, we were given a pager and we went into the bar area. They had plenty of tv’s and a lot of sports playing so don’t worry, youre not going to miss the big game.
The bartender came over immediatly, she was friendly and happy. We ordered a glass of Merlot and a Yards Philadelphia Pale Ale. Our drinks were brought right over and our buzzer went off immediatly. We settled our bill and went to get rental shoes. The way this works is you pick your size and go to your lane, play as much as you want and when you’re done, you get charged for what you used. I really like that because we would have paid for 2 games only had we been asked upfront, but we ended up playing for five games since we were not in a hurry to leave thinking someone else was awaiting for our lane.
The waitress came over immediatly and asked if we needed anything, as we had our drinks from the bar, we didn’t. She was said no problem and left — she did not forget about us and came back often. We ended up getting additional drinks as well as food. They have the typical bowling fried food fare, we ordered the hummas plate and the margarita pizza. Both were delicious and the two of us ate everything. Five more rounds of drinks, five rounds of bowling and really yummy fattening carbs make for a blissful evening.

I had my husband’s 60^th surprise party here on the suggestion from my daughter who has lunch there. She told me the food was really good. So I planned the party and everything went off without a hitch. The only drawback was the limited time. You only get 2 hours on the lanes. So when I arrived at 6:30 with the birthday boy, 30 minutes had already ticked off the clock. We waited a bit too long for the appetizers I had ordered. We were told by our waitress that our food was mistakenly sent to another party, so we waited too long to get ours. My guests were hungry and some of them ordered on their own, not happy about that. The pizza was small and cold, not flavorful. The appetizers were better. The place itself is not your typical bowling alley, it kind of has a «retro» feel to it, which I loved. As far as extending our time on the lanes, we couldn’t, because another party was coming in. Our guests had fun, some haven’t bowled in years and we really had some laughs. The party was Nov 2015.

I organized a company event here and they were nothing short of amazing! Christine and Jessie helped me set it up, while Allie spent the night making sure we were taken care of. Thank you for a fun night… we will be back soon.

Digital interactive scoring, LED lighting on lanes and throughout, several huge flat screens mounted above the alleys; comfortable lane seating with beverage tables and rear food/​beverage shelves located above the ball storage. Waitress*****are happy to assist with beverage or food order.
Nice menu to please every palette; apps, bar food, entries, dessert. Tried Sliders ***** Fries*****, Quesadilla*****, Spinach Dip*****
They also have a well stocked bar loaded with crafted beers, flat screens throughout; bar and booth seating. VIP Lounge.
Highly recommended for family fun… Can’t wait to go back!

Took my daughter here for her 5^th birthday. Rather than actually booking a party we had her friends and our family meet us here. Prior to our arrival I checked with Pinsetters customer service to see if it would be okay if we brought cake and balloons and they were awesome about it!
We had a dedicated server who was very helpful when it was time to place an order for our food, etc. Food was okay for bowling alley food.
This place is quite a gem. One of the most upscale bowling alleys I’ve been to in NJ although it doesn’t look like much on the outside.
Our family that we invited have been back at their leisure which I think is great!

Purchased a Groupon & took the kids today. It was very nice, very clean. The dark atmosphere with lights & loud music was great. Our waitress was great, had a few beer, ordered some food. We all had a great time, definitely will be back

This place Rocks! We had a birthday party here. If you want a party that kids will be talking about the next day, this is it. Our hostess was excellent, she was with us the whole party– checked in the kids for bowling, made sure we had everything we needed. Adult food was great, kids got what they wanted and it was good too. And there is a bar for a little adult relaxation while the kids were bowling. An awesome time! I wouldn’t change a thing!

Food is off the wall! Most comfortable and high end bowling alley I have ever been in. Dart boards, bar, party rooms, DJs on he weekend and awesome neon lit bowling alleys with COMFORTABLE leather couches instead of hard plastic swivel chairs. And don’t even think of getting up to get drinks or food, they have waitresses for that ;)

This place is modern looking, and inviting. The staff is super friendly, and the food and drinks are good. But the owner, he makes the difference to me. He is genuinely nice. he engages with his customers, and I feel goes above and beyond. At one of my last jobs, we had a group of mentally challenged individuals who loved to come here. We usually would show up around 11:30 am on a Friday morning. He spoke to, and played with every single one of my clients. He remembers them each time they come. Stuff like that makes a difference to THEM… and makes them want to come back.

I love this place! I come here with my boyfriend for the Wednesday night bowling league-​its a fun, relaxed, no pressure situation. Almost the entire place is reserved for the league on Wednesdays 7−9pm. They have great drink specials, decently priced GOOD bar food (really good for a bar), and you could bring almost any aged crowd for fun.

Pinsetter is a wonderful bowling alley. The rates are very reasonable even on weekends. Counter staff is very friendly. I definitely have to go here again.

The food is really good we had buffalo bites, a sampler with potato skins chips salsa mac and cheese bites and lastly nachos. My favorite were the nachos which Didnt have chili but were flavorful and topped with pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream. The food was really good and may be the only reason I return.
The bar smells like a frat house ew. The bartenders were pretty attentive and they serve dogfish head which is a plus in my books.
The seating for the lanes is cramped and unlike most bowling alleys dont have additional seating behind with a table, not ideal for large groups. This really bothered me as we had to essentially play musical chairs throughout the night. Behind the seats for the lane was a small ledge which you could essentially use as a table to stand and eat, if you enjoy standing when eating.
The bathrooms smelled horrible and were unkept. There was toilet paper streamed everywhere.

I have been going to this bowling alley since they have opened, but my recent experience wasn’t as friendly as usual.
My family and I went on a Friday night to celebrate a family members birthday and we we’re watched and a shame to say but racial profiled. We came to have fun and I felt was watched and lurked upon most of the time.
We weren’t doing Anything out of the ordinary and if the bouncer felt different he should have pulled someone aside and let us know… It’s 2015 and I was very uncomfortable and felt my group was targeted out of everyone on a busy Friday night!!!
Btw we weren’t close to the front desk so the bouncer literally walked down to lane 28 and stood there watching like a hawk! Smh. It’s so sad and unbelievable to see.

I did not realize how nice Pinsetter’s is! The interior is really awesome for a neighborhood bowling alley. Even the bathrooms are beautiful! The monday night deal of $ 3 bowling and $ 2 domestic drafts is unbeatable. I cannot comment on the food but I did see a few plates and they looked really tempting. We had some issues where the pins were not setting up correctly, but if you hit the reset button a few times, they will reset themselves. Overall everyone had a wonderful time, the service was great, and the deals were spot on.
