First time here and wouldn’t be Back. The food was horrible and he waiter was pushy. Mashed potatoes tasted like Instant potatoes, the roast beef tasted like lunch meat with gravy on top, the rice was over cooked. Soup was the only thing that actually tasted good and it wasn’t filled all the way. I’ll spend the extra driving time and go to Quakertown dinner instead.

Great place! Seafood combo and chicken broccoli cordon Bleu were excellent and filling. We will be back!

Okay my five star rating is based on local diners in comparison, 1st time going seemed pack but still got seated right away. Place was clean, friendly and bright. Never had clear birch beer before liked it and then we ordered turkey, meatloaf, chicken, and usual sides including soup, all was very solid something I would be happy to eat at home. Waitress was on point and pleasant the whole time, I will be back next time I visit my grandfather.

I got the Four Season salad and it was an excellent portion and the chicken was grilled perfectly.

For a diner I can’t really complain. When I got here it smelt like baking brownies as soon as I opened the truck door. The place was rather packed but we were meeting family who had already arrived. We sat in the back room in a corner which was fine by me. I like to people watch. Our service was good. Can’t find anything to complain about there. The food was also pretty decent. I ordered a fiesta omelet. I wish there were more bell pepper and onion. Also the salsa was obviously from a jar and it was sweet. It was a bit confusing. The potatoes were delicious. Also the prices are great.

The Ruben is pretty good. I get it every time I go there and my daughter gets her kid stuff. It’s diner food which definitely isn’t a problem. Obviously if you don’t want diner food don’t go. We had a few problems with the wait staff but all together it’s great management and service and very friendly.

It’s a diner. Not worth going out of your way to get here. Sometimes it’s better than expected. Good for groups and kids a little busy on the weekend mornings. The price is right and you will see a lot of old timers here. The breakfast seems to be better then the dinner they have to offer. I go here because it’s close.

Not great. We go here sometimes for breakfast or dinner, Worst coffee EVER! I can’t believe that other reviews stated they have good coffee! If you like your coffee to taste like an ashtray, then yes, they have good coffee. Food is mediocre but it’s reasonably priced so you get what you pay for.

It’s a diner, so don’t set your expectations TOO high. but each time i’ve gone, the wait staff is friendly and prompt. overall great food, all day breakfasts. great coffee. lunch food quality so-so, ordered a Rueben and it looked like my kid made it. stick to simple items.

The only real reason to go here is if you grew up in town. It’s a good place to meet up with friends and run into old flames. It’s great for remembering why you left. It’s over priced food that’s ok.

The salad bar is weak, the food is gross, the dining room smelled like an 80yr old fart and our waitress’ arms were covered in scabs from psoriasis. Never again.

Meh. Yeah it’s a diner, but they could put a bit more effort in across the board.

I dropped in here yesterday morning for breakfast. I saw the less than stellar reviews so I had low expectations. I was pleasantly surprised. I sat at the counter and everything within site was spotless. I was quickly given a menu and my first cup of good coffee by a friendly waitress. The menu was huge and I ordered a ham & cheese omelet that came with home fries and wheat toast. It was out in a flash and looked and tasted just fine. The home fries were not too greasy which is a hot button for me. This was solid diner food. My tab including the coffee was five bucks and change. To me this was a great value and I’d have no problems visiting here again.

I love simple diner food and usually it”s pretty safe but I’ve been very disappointed ever time I have visited. I understand when it’s super slow that the employees will hang out and talk– I would do the same– but here they will completely ignore you. If you actually get up to ask for a drink refill for instance you will be given the death stare and half a huff for making them work. One night I was there with 2 friends and there were only 3 or 4 other tables and it still took us half an hour to get out drinks and an hour to get our food. The waitress stood behind the counter and spent a good portion of the time in the doorway to the kitchen. I really wish we would have just walked out. And the food… you’re better off just making it at home, it will taste so much better. It’s is incredibly bland and tasteless. It also tastes like they used a lot of pre-made or canned ingredients in their foods rather than using everything fresh.

Great place to eat if you are drunk or buzzed. Otherwise a pass. Not a Denny”s replacement.

Having lived in the area for a while now I’ve eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here on a number of occasions. It’s your basic small town diner; the interior is dated but welcoming, the service is usually friendly, the menu is large and the food is decent. It’s the only old school style diner\family restaurant in the area so that gives it extra points for nostalgic value. As for the food, it’s ok but really nothing special. As another reviewer mentioned the best thing here is the fruit topped waffles and pancakes at breakfast which are quite awesome. Aside from that, breakfast, lunch and dinner are all ok but not worth raving about in my opinion. There’s definitely better to be had at a couple of other small restaurants in the area that serve homestyle food(Woodside Restaurant and The Strawberry House come to mind). Bottom line is this is a reliable stop to get your hunger fix.

Well, I gotta tell ya this is one place you have got to check out. The food is amazing as it should be. The staff is as kind and considerate as your Uncle Ed. If you have an Uncle Ed. The ambiance is that of an old fashioned diner with regulars sittin’ and yakin’ up a storm about who’s in the hospital, who had a baby, who got arrested, well, you know what I mean. We always go in there for a straight forward easy breakfast — eggs, home fries and toast. Never happens. Their specials are indeed just that. Last week they had a «fruit covered waffle». Now, I usually don’t go for that sort of stuff cuz it’s just way too much. But I thought, what the hay, I’ll give it a shot. I need more fruit in my diet anyway. Jeepers! They brought out the most magnificent waffle I had ever seen. The round waffle was thick, hot and fluffy. No ‘from the package” batter here, my friends. Piled high were blueberries, strawberries, bananas, orange sections, pineapple and coconut. It was so huge that I never even put syrup on it. I just started digging my way through. The waffle was so crisp, yet so tender. The fruit was fresh and clean. No problems. No ifs ands or buts about it, this is that place you’ve got to pull into when driving by. They won’t disappoint. I promise.
