If you ask for a estimate over the phone they will hang up on you. I had some minor water damage in my finished basement. I had an excellent water recovery service dry it out and remove some padding. When I called to request getting the replacement work done to replace the missing padding and relay the carpet the Secretary got overwhelmed with even simple questions so she referred me to the owner Nancy. Nancy seemed knowledgeable at first but as soon as I pointed out I already had a laser measured square feet for padding and relaying from the other service, and asked for an estimate she insisted on sending Bob out. Since I’m frequently out of town, I asked if she could just do a phone estimate and then have them come over and do the work. She refused and hung up the phone on me with no explanation. I’m not cheap, I wanted to pay absolutely top quality and they been recommended to me by the service that cleaned the carpets for me. So I was somewhat baffled that they turned down even the simplest of work.
