This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area. I recommend their famous bang bang shrimp appetizer(this is the only shrimp my son eats), and they have a great selection of quality fish dishes.

This rating comes in three parts. 1. Hostess /seating– we were placed at a high top that had not been cleaned yet. It took 10 min for someone to move the dirty dishes from where we were sitting to next seat. Still our table. Not cleaning or wiping the table. 2. Waitress — we were approach after 15 min asking us for our drink order. I asked if someone could clean the table. «Oh sure Sir». Another 10 min goes by. She comes back asking for our order. I said«clean the table then ask for our order». When they came to clean the table I was sprayed with the solution. Argh. Finally got to order. 3. Food– the food quality was good but nothing spectacular and after the previous situations I will not return. This was our second time there and both times unpleasant. :(

Out of the dating phase but man, this would be the place! Classy, fun and good. Bang bang and wedge salad were epic. Pad thai was really well made but a little intense. Super strong flavors panning my checks. The protein was really perfectly cooked and the knife work was fun!

We started with the Bang Bang Shrimp. It’s a special on Wednesday. It was terrific. Could have had a second serving and could have been my meal. Instead had the shrimp and scallops. My wife had the trout. Both were excellent. Service was great. Prices not bad for what you get. The desserts looked great also but too full to try. Highly recommend this place!

Lamb lollipops were VERY rare. Not my first time having this dish and I was told that they make the dish this way. Lamb was chewy and inedible. Although they did refund me, would not recommend ordering this dish.

So… we tried this place again after a few months and once again it was a disappointment. The beans were not cooked l(and I like sauteed beans) and the shrimp and scallops were overcooked and hard. The quality does not match the price anymore. The house wine and soup are the best things on the menu!

Had dinner last nite with the wife and it was terrific. I had the Parmesan encrusted trout and wife had scallops and shrimp. Both were cooked perfectly and tasted great. Our server was a cute bubbly red head named Heather and she made the dining experience that much more pleasant. When I ordered my trout, I asked her to tell the chef to be generous on the artichokes garnishing the trout and she delivered my meal with a small dish of chokes on the side. We don’t get to Pensacola that often but will return to the Bonefish when we are there again.

We live very close to Bonefish in Pensacola. The last time I went, I took a friend from out of town for dinner. After telling her how wonderful the place is, we were both very disappointed with the food and the lack of service. The food was cold and was awful. This is a place that I have been going to for six years. We had my husbands memorial dinner there a year ago. Very disappointed and I remember how bad my last experience was every time I pass the place! Will not be going back!

This was my first time dining at bonefish grill and I must say I was impressed and would love to return again. The restaurant was very classy but not overly dressy, they did accept reservations and I saw a few kids there including mine. The atmosphere would lean more towards a romantic setting, dim lighting, nice wall art, soft background music a perfect place for a date. Of course they had a bar and TVs showing the game or news. Even though we didn’t have a reservation we were seated quickly. The server we had was very knowledgeable about the meals, ingredients, wines, and always attentive to see if we needed again. Hubby ordered lobster stuffed shrimp as an appetizer and it was delicious and enough to share with 2 people, the capers in that dish lent it an awesome flavor and it was moist and juicy, just bursting with flavor. The table was served with warm bread and olive oil dip, the bread alone was very tasty and even better when dipped. I ordered tea(was informed it was only raspberry or green tea), either way the green tea was good, at least I tried something new. I ordered the lamb chop meal — it was unbelievably tasty. I’ve only had lamb a few times and never chops but I’m hooked now, the meat was seasoned just right to make the meat so succulent, I was given truffle mac and cheese and broccoli as I side. Being that I never had truffle mac and cheese and didn’t ask what was in it, I was surprised by the mushrooms(which I don’t like) and the flavor. I didn’t care for it at all but something about the cheese taste made me continue to eat it for a while, I ended up giving majority to the hubby. He loved it so I’m sure it was just my taste buds. He ordered the fish and you could taste the smoke grilled flavor in it, it was very good. The kiddo got the chicken fingers and fries. That was good too. For desert we got the melting brownie with a side of ice cream and drizzled in raspberry sauce and topped with whipped cream and nuts. It was delicous. I only wish they would give you a larger scoop of ice cream to enjoy the brownie with. They did have a back room I guess they used for parties and it was shut off from the main dining area to help block the noise. They had booths and tables, along with outside dining in wicker chair sets. Kid booster and high chairs. Overall, I would highly recommend eating here and would love to come back to try more meals. Hubby didn’t ask for military discount, so I’m unsure if they have it or not. The meal itself was about $ 80, but worth it.

The bang bang shrimp was ok for my first try. It tastes good but it’s not special enough that I would order it again. I was surprised it was a large portion for an appetizer though, which is great. I was not impressed with the spicy tuna bowl. It seems like the tuna was overcooked and all I tasted from the salsa was the red onion. Including that with the jasmine rice and avocado, the flavors didn’t go well together. I poured all the sweet chili sauce on everything and mixed it together to make it taste a little better. The only thing I was happy about was the service. The waitress I had was sweet and very attentive and she didn’t rush my friend and I at all when we were mostly talking rather than eating.

Had a Great meal here for my birthday last Friday. On my last day of vacation — me and my buddy went there and started with a martini at the bar — they have these super stylish martini glasses that are slanted and have one of those solid square cubes that melt slower — very cool, and the bartender had a great attitude. She was friendly and cool with a bar full of people. The atmosphere was trendy but still casual enough — some well dressed folks, and many more casually dressed –after all it is Florida. We shared the Mussels app which had a delicious broth we had to sop up with the soft square loaf of bread they set on the table. The bread had a delicious Olive Oil and garlicky green herb flavors in it. Then for dinner I had the Chilean Sea Bass served with potatoes au graten(4 cheeses!) and spaghetti squash. All delicate and beautifully prepared. My friend had a special request of Fried Shrimp. It’s what he grew up on in Louisianna so I called ahead and the Server gave me several options on the phone. I love it when a special request that is doable is accepted and they go above and beyond — they definitely did. Nice big Gulf shrimp, not quite a dozen for a great price, very lightly dredged with just enough accent and flavor. I am super impressed with this place. Also I ordered a couple glasses of an Alsace Riesling that didn’t taste right, she quickly replaced them and took that off of my check. There were many nice selections on the wine list, to which we had a delicious Pinot Noir by the bottle. Then they brought out Crème Brulee as a complimentary dessert — THRILLED by my experience here. I wish all of my dining experiences had this type of attention to detail and care for the customer.

Forst time ever at this restaurant. Waited a couple minutes for a booth but not long. The wait staff was extremely attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Drinks were never empty. We got the bang bang shrimp appetizer. Super popular after reading thru these reviews. Somehow still stayed crunchy even after the sauce and the time it took to eat. We got the blackened fish tacos with green beans and the tilapia with truffle mac and cheese. All good. They even drew a funny picture on my to go box. Im easily amused lol

Another chain. The only thing worth coming here for is the Bang Bang shrimp and the chicken salad.

I love bonefish in general, but this location has disappointed every time I’ve gone. My staple menu items have been bad, not just a let down, but bad. Service has been ok, but nothing compared to other locations. Won’t come again :(

We’d just spent a week at the beach eating lots of seafood, so we were a little hesitant about eating at Bonefish Grille. But the persistent recommendation from the front desk of our hotel, and the restaurant’s proximity, found us waiting with the masses. Chain or not, it may have been the best meal we had all week. It’s an efficient operation, moving large crowds through the dining room. Our wait time was minimal and our waiter, Aaron, was knowledgeable and helpful in his suggestions. We had an elderly family member with us who needed more time and our waiter adapted easily to our slower pace. As an upscale casual restaurant, they also did an excellent job of pacing our food, not dropping off the next course until the previous one had been cleared. I personally hate when I’ve only had a few bites of salad and my entrée is delivered or when food is delivered before drinks arrive. Bonefish Grille gets it right. My entrée, a 6 oz. sirloin with a crab cake and side of pumpkin ravioli was the star of the table, but we loved everything we ordered. We passed on the signature appetizer, Bang Bang Shrimp, but did sample the chowder, which drew appreciative oohs and aahs. I also got my favorite beet and goat cheese salad, more expensive than the house salad someone else ordered, but worth it. Thai Coconut Shrimp and a Mahi Mahi special were equally delicious. The ala carte pricing came out to about $ 30/person before tip, surprisingly reasonable given that we ordered wine, soup, side salads and one dessert. We came away impressed. Bonefish Grille definitely exceeded our expectations.

Always absolutely amazing service from our favorite bartenders on Wednesday night! They are both always so attentive no matter how crazy busy it always is! I always go for the awesome bang bang shrimp and my husband is more the bang bang chicken! Both great every time! We also live the calamari and bread! Easy dinner when we I don’t want to cook at home or have anything too heavy out. This will always be one of my favorite spots in Pensacola based on the whole dining experience you leave with!
