My only complaint is that no one told me of this place sooner. True professional and his talent is second to none. His price is higher than others in the area but you will most certainly get what you pay for! Looking forward to going in again! Well done Farouk!

Stopped in here earlier after reading some other reviews and figured I would try it. Great experience! Was in and out in record time (normally a bad sign due to quality of the hair cut), and the haircut was phenomenal. Best haircut I have had in quite some time. I was a little apprehensive at first because it was slightly different than what I had been used to, but it actually looks really good. He did most of it with a straight razor and ensured that I looked great when I left. I will certainly be back here.

Best barber shop in town! Farouk is fast, efficient, and has a good eye for styling if you’re looking to try something new. Be mindful of the hours and days the shop is open. Shop tends to be most busy around 4 – 5 PM so try to get there earlier if you want a shorter wait.

My boyfriend went in for a haircut on his way to LA. He needed a military haircut so we stopped by Farouk’s and it only took less than 10 mins to get the best haircut he has ever had. It was 17 $ a little pricey, but you get what you pay for and that’s great quality when you go to Farouk’s. Btw it’s cash only!

Best barbershop in Pensacola! I go every two weeks for a fresh cut. Excellent straight razor shave. Make sure to bring cash before stopping by.

First thought when I walked in: There’s 4 people in front of me and this is going to take a while. But then I realized this man worked quick and was turning out some really nice haircuts. I ended up waiting 20 minutes which was much shorter than I expected, and I got a high quality haircut. 100% worth it and I will be going back!

If you needed a military style haircut and lives near Pensacola, I suggested you come to this place! one of the best haircut I have had in my life!
Negative– it’s really expensive! 17 bucks for adults! but it’s definitely worth it if its for a special events!

I really had high hopes going into this place. It was super close to my house and the reviews were great.
Well kind of a let down. First of all the price of horrendous. I think it was like 17 dollars or something crazy expensive in that range. Which for this area, is super high end.
And the hair cut? Well it was so-​so. He did it super fast, cut off pieces of hair that I didn’t want cut off, didn’t take his time to do anything, and didn’t say a word to me. I felt like this was a meat market for military people getting their hair cut.
I would rate the place as average. The price is insanely high. The haircut was okay. And the vibe was rushed, and generally not good. I would not recommend this place to others.

I moved from Pensacola to Austin, Tx for work and I have never found a barber as good as Farouk. Always gave a perfect shave so my chin strap was on point! Hair style was perfect, always exactly what I asked for (and what my now fiancé wanted). Always looked my best leaving there.
I wish he would move to ATX!

Don’t get your hair cut here. He is over priced and will give you a bad haircut. I asked for a low fade, a very simple haircut and he basically gave my high and tight, if you want anything other than a high fade this guy cant do it. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere

Worst haircut experience I ever had. Asked for a clean up on the sides… apparently that translated to cutting it clean all the way to the part on top of my head. Had to shave my whole head just to not look ridiculous.

Hands down best barber shop in pensacola. This guy is a damn professional, I never had a single haircut in the two years I was stationed there that I didn’t love. Excellent working hours and minimal wait time for haircuts (even on pay day weeks). Dollar for dollar best haircut in Pensacola, Farouk needs to set up franchises. If I’m ever back in Pensacola I hope he’s still around. I strongly recommend him over the other barber shops that are right off base.
If you’re a student the convenience of those other off base barbers might be tempting but a cab ride with a bunch of other guys to this Farouk is definitely worth it. Five stars.

I’ve gotten a few haircuts since moving to Pensacola in june. Farouk is the man. The onky person I would let cut my hair from now on. He listens to what you want and delivers in his cuts and razor skills.

The best cut in town. Most places in this town cater to the lowest common denominator, and anything more than a military buzz cut with clippers will end up in a terrible state. Not here. Top class all the way.

Farouk’s shop is a no nonsense, straight up barbershop. Nice facility with clean wood floors, and comfy couch to sit on while waiting for a cut. With that being said you won’t have to wait long because the man cuts hair pretty quickly. 15 minutes tops. He even uses a vacuum connected to the clippers so that there is less hair to clean up after each cut. Fast and efficient haircut, with a straight razor to clean up the sides.
I liked the fact that Farouk was friendly and fast. Sine I was in town visiting he was able to give me some tips on where to grab brunch. Anyway, the only reason why he didn’t get 5 stars was because he straight razored a little to quickly and lined up a little too far back. Otherwise, definitely worth the $ 15 cut. $ 15 in 15 minutes and you got yourself a pretty good cut.

Best place in town to get a cut! Farouk knows his stuff and is an expert. He is very friendly and professional. I definitely will make this my go-​to place whenever I need to get cut again. I would highly recommend this place!

Farouk did a tremendous job! He listened well to how I wanted it cut and nailed it. Very good attention to detail. He thinned my hair with a straight razor too, which I appreciate. I definitely found my new barber for Pensacola.
The shop itself is very nice as well. Very comfortable. It feels like an old-​school shop with a modern facelift.
