G and S Flooring and Refinishing

Gene Wilson of G & S Flooring & Restoration was hired to refinish my floor on January 5^th last year. After putting down the final coat of poly he said he would come back to check on the floors and smooth out any puddles. When the floor dried it was obvious that he did not properly sand the floor causing extremely rough patches throughout as well as puddles of uneven poly. I contacted him numerous times and was only met with excuses as to why he was unable to come and fix the floor. DO NOT hire him. He was unprofessional and has poor craftsmanship. He continually told me he would come back and fix his mistakes and then does not respond when asked about a specific date that he will return or recently he set a date and then did not show up claiming some other job was more important. He promised to come the following day and again did not come and fix his poor workmanship. It has been over 4 months and the floor looks awful and I will have to hire someone to repair his mistakes.
