This place seems extremely proud of their work compared to what I was used to, but they do seem very busy… I dropped off a pair of shoes on 12/​23/​2015 and they were not ready till 01/​05/​2016.
Half leather sole and a heel on a size 13EEE pair of dress shoes set me back $ 69.88!!! I made the mistake of expecting a similar price as to what I was used to paying at Wilson’s Shoe Repair in Pace, FL which is now closed… Same work on same shoe with a better shine in my opinion at Wilson’s was less than half the price and quicker turnaround… Sorry they are closed…
Ironically, as I was leaving who walks out from behind the curtain??? Yep, Mr. Wilson from the Pace store… He works for them now… Too bad… I will definitely shop around and get quotes next time…

I recently took three pairs of shoes, a pair a mary jane pumps, a pair of peep toe pumps and a pair of short boots. Last time I had a pair of shoes repaired by another shop located downtown, after the first wear, my little toe tore the shoe away from the new sole, they did a horrible job for a whopping $ 40.
Not Jaks! They did an absolutely wonderful job on all three pairs, I had heels replaced, half soles replaced on both pumps, my pair of mary janes needed to be sewn on the side of both shoes and my boots needed the heals wrapped. All three pairs cost only around $ 53 a bargain to keep some of my favorite shoes in my wardrobe. I highly recommend this shoe shop. Great craftsmanship and wonderfully nice people, definitely customer service, not like that other place downtown.

Positives: It’s crazy how busy this store is every time I stop by. they must do a great service.
Negatives: today I stop by to get a shoe heel lift; their prices are about double compared to other places.

Jaks provides excellent and time efficient service! I dropped off a pair of my favorite coveted leather boots for a sole repair right before Thanksgiving. I assumed the repair would take awhile during the holiday season. I was wrong! Jaks had my boots ready the day after Thanksgiving. They did an amazing quality job. Friendly staff, great prices, wonderful work. Will take all of my shoes here again. Highly recommended by me!
