Great place for ice cream. Every year we come to silver lake for vacation and Always make at least one stop here. We get«the pig» every year, four flavors of your choice, two scoops each, a banana, and any toppings you like, then whipped cream and a cherry, all for about 9 bucks, delicious. For 2.50 more you can get seven flavors, two scoops each, fourteen total scoops, this is called the“super pig”, not for those on a diet. You also get a pin for either pig for a souvenir, we keep them pinned in our camper, they also take your pic for the wall. Overall a must each time we are in the area, great shops n the area as well.

Went with two other people for lunch. Service was very slow. Food was acceptable but nothing special, about what you’d expect. Our original waitress disappeared without any notice and I had to ask a different waitress for our check. Perhaps the worst surprise was when, after visiting the restaurant, someone other than me decided to rack up a $ 2,100 charge on on the VISA card that I used to pay at this restaurant. House of Flavors was the only place I used this VISA card that month. Make of that what you will.

Good place to get some ice cream to take to the lake to watch the sunset. They have a selection of around 20 flavours. Good service and not expensive.

Had grilled ham and cheese and soup and everything was good. Ham had big chunks that was so tasty. Soup was turkey noodle and was just like homemade. Will return here.

I’d give House of Flavors five stars as an ice cream parlor and 2.5 as a restaurant. A fantastic place to go for ice cream and treats, but not my favorite lunch spot. They have a huge variety of ice cream flavors and specialties and cold drinks and the prices are very reasonable. Our lunch there was okay, nothing special. Service at the counter is great — lots of people taking orders at the same time so even if there is a long line it goes down quickly — but our server at the table was a little neglectful.

Absolutely the best place for ice cream in the Pentwater area. There are other options but none of them match up to the House of Flavors! This place is on our must hit list(often a daily visit) during our annual weekly vacation to Pentwater.

Was in Pentwater for the homecoming parade and knew I had to have ice cream after standing in the heat for a couple hours. I got two scoop cone – birthday cake and Mackinac island fudge. Oh how I miss Mackinac island fudge! They don’t sell that stuff in Cali! Both flavors were good, but I’m thinking I should have traded the birthday cake for cookie dough. The sis had cookie dough and it was pretty incredible. The waffle cone didn’t wow me, but it was good and I hear they are homemade. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Michigan in the summer!

Spent the day in the quaint town of Pentwater and stumbled upon this place while waiting for our dinner reservation at the Village Grill. Atmosphere is small town ice cream store style, booth seating, with white picket fence and photos of locals on the walls as well as a collection of pigs(bc you may want to pig out on ice cream…). Lots of families were eating dinner here. Girls working the place are very nice and even made a fresh pot of coffee for me since there was no coffee shop open in town. Good selection of ice cream and scoops are very generous. Pirate’s treasure and moose tracks — YUM! Great before dinner treat! Will return if in town again!

Yummy place for ice cream or a Chicago dog after a day at the beach!
