Bergners

The clothes on the racks were horribly disorganized, items were tangled together and near impossible to get off the rack. Sizes mislabeled on their hangars or not placed in the correct size category. Sales associates were horribly rude, not friendly, and incompetent. Sales signs are confusing and misleading with several items on one table but only a couple of the items actually qualify for the sale that is indicated by the sign on the table.

I have been to this location many times before, but my most recent experience was so outstanding I had to jump right and Unilocal and give props to Bergner’s for being awesome.
First, let me start with why I couldn’t give a 5 star. The shoe dept… maybe I hit it on a day when they were understaffed. IDK, but I had to really hunt someone down just to try on a couple pairs of shoes that I seriously wanted to buy. I was annoyed that the ladies were trying to multi task to the extreme and kept getting everyone confused and losing shoes. Somehow the ladies who walked up way after me, and who were dressed in much more expensive attire than I that day, got their shoes before me. I would like to give them the benefit of a doubt, that maybe they were exceptionally busy or understaffed, but I felt incredibly unimportant and brushed aside. Unfortunately, they also didn’t have my size in one pair, and the other pair, well I just didn’t like them enough to earn them any commission.
Fortunately, the ladies who work in the juniors dept and dress dept turned my visit around. They were just so helpful and sweet. All 3 took extra steps to help me out. They spent considerate time helping me locate a few different items. Overall, I just got a great, positive vibe from them that made me think they really wanted to be helpful. I wish I could remember their names because they deserve employees of the month, do people even still do that?
And last, Bergner’s…you have awesome variety and offer something for every budget. My mom and I were high fiving on the way out over the amazing deals we got. I mean, we were shocked to find so many items at low prices, and the more expensive items we covered with the super coupons we get in the mail. Way to go, now send me more coupons!!!
