And it was time for another stuffed animal…
Since we were going to be in the area picking up an ipad, I figured I’d play my cards right, bat my eyelashes and score a quick side trip to one of my favorite stores, BABW.
Inside the Peoria Mall, the store was dead at 8:30pm on a weeknight (closes at 9pm) which was perfect because we got the undivided attention of the staff and no pesky kids underfoot. Speaking of the staff’s attention, it was generally appreciated that they didn’t question why two twenty-​somethings were there at all, let alone having as much fun as we were.
I got the fennec fox, with a portion of the purchase going to the World Wildlife Fund, and a Cubs t-​shirt for $ 36.
