I am giving Sam the manager of this branch a 5 star. She listened to what I wanted done. Showed her 3 pictures of the hair cut I wanted and did not get overwhelmed or threatened like any hair stylist I had in the past. She is calm and willing to satisfy her customer. Shows professionalism. She got the job done especially followed every detail. I am so pleased to meet this hairstylist and will be my hairstylist from now on. Thanks Sam :)

Terrible salon full of rude women. Avoid if possible. Not as cheap as it seems either. It’s worth it to spend a little more $ and visit a real salon. I also a terrible cut and color job from the same lady described in Justine C’s post. Her name is REGINA — at least that is what was on my receipt. Before coming here, I had a nonprofessional cut and dye my hair. It was barely trimmed and was turning orange. I went to Cost-Cutters because it is close to where I live. I asked to just cut my hair more, give some layers, and dye it all one color. We agreed on a color, but she kept trying to talk me out of it. She said I would be her last appointment for the day. My major complaints: –Too rough. She is rough on your hair, pulling when she brushes, brushing over your ears, and just yanking way too much. –Doesn’t listen. I said I thought I wanted something like a picture in one of their magazines. She hardly glanced at it. –Makes a mess. My forehead and hairline were all dyed for days. I asked her to wipe it off with their stuff and she got a hissy fit with me. So when I asked again, saying I wasn’t satisfied, she wiped out some of the color! –The dye specifically said to leave on for 20 minutes(I think it should have been 30 since it’s a red and a dye-over job). She readjusted the timer down after several minutes, then took me over to wash before it went off. –She seemed hassled that I said yes, I do want my hair blow dried before I leave. Instead of just blow drying it and using a round brush to set it, she used a curling iron and put these stupid curls in. Huh? I said blow dry, not style. Plus she realized her cutting was wrong as she was drying it because she continued hacking away. –She argued with me that my hair was long, not medium. She showed me her little price guide. It doesn’t match what is in all the magazines in their store. Then she charged me $ 20 for a shampoo and style. I might call corporate on this. I will never return here ever I am letting my hair grow out since I have layers that barely can be pulled back now. And I’m going back to my natural color.

OK. So let me start off by saying I was not expecting anything special from this place but I was expecting for the person to cut my hair to know what they where doing. Let me first go over my first visit with them. I take my four year old girl there to get her hair cut. the women did a fantastic job. A short little bob. I thought, I might as well get a trim too, so I ask if she had time for another hair cut and she said she had an appointment coming in and someone else would help me. The lady who did my hair had no manners, was CHEWINGGUM, and did not listen to what i asked for. As she laid me back in the sink you could see the water leakage on the ceiling tiles and the lights look like that hadn’t been clean for years. She took me to a station, not her station so I couldn’t see her name, but a station full of junk on the table. I asked for a short style and she cut it in less than ten minutes. It came out OK. A few months later, my baby needs a hair cut. we go back to this place and the gum chewer was still there, but not the girl who did her hair last time. A nice oriental lady took her back and I told her what I wanted. An a-line bob. She cut my kids hair it looked OK wet. I needed a trim on mine and showed her a picture of how it was originally cut so she can do that too. What did she do? SHEGAVEME A MULLET! I knew a soon as she took thinning shears to my think hair i was in trouble. I asked her to cut it shorter in the back to flush it with the new bangs she decide to add. her response? «ooh i cut it really short already». RUDE. After correcting her a few times i gave up and said it looked fine. What was I to do? Throw a fit and cry in their salon full of families. So now I look like a boy and my long red hair is gone and i have long bangs, that i cant crop because i want them to grow back to be the same length as the rest of my hair like i had them before and took me years to accomplish. You wanna know why the hair cuts are so cheap? Because they have no standards. I don’t know where these people learned to cut hair, but whoever it is they need to go back. DONOTGOHERE.
