Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Incompetent. The best word I can use to describe this place. Better organization is definitely needed. They are not working as a team at this particular facility. People are waiting around unhappily and there are more than enough staff to help. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because when I went to turn in the car they asked me if I had been satisfied with my experience. I told them the truth and they asked me what they could do about it. I said some money off would be nice and they took $ 20 off.

We have very bad experience here! We are so mad! My friend needs to rent a car to Chicago airport. We did all the preparation in advance and wanted to pick up our car as soon as possible. However, one guy said my friend’s Discover-​Enterprise gift card can’t work and told us we need to make a phone call. Fine, we did it, and the Enterprise women on phone totally knew nothing and just repeated what my friend already did online! At the end, she said your promotion was expired and we need to call Discover. Come on ! How stupid she is, it’s gift card not promotion code and it won’t expire within one year. Because we have done this many times successfully before so we knew it’s only because the customer servicemen are not familiar with their business and threw all the problems back to us. We were so mad it took 50 minutes in store, so mad this happened after one day’s tough work, and so mad it happened right before my friend’s long trip. I gave one star only because the front desk guy finally felt our angry and made a call to his boss and got the solution right away. Why you didn’t do this at the beginning?!

Never again. Kia is not a good car (this one) steering pulls car rides rough. I asked for a replacement and was told «sure we will take care of you.» When I arrived, there wasn’t even an attempt to resolve the car issue. They wasted my time and lied to me. Lied. Never again. Thanks. I’ll take this up with the insurance company and let them know how this company treats people. It’s not how my insurance company would want to do business.

My car was acting up while I was on my way to Chicago. I was pressed for time so decided to go to Enterprise and rent a car quickly. When I walked in it seemed quite busy for 5pm. Finally I was able to talk with a worker and explained exactly what I needed. He proceeded to ask a co-​worker a question then turned back to me and said that they are only taking reservations right now. If I wanted to stick around until closing which was 6pm, they «might» have a car for me. I was very unhappy because I didn’t have time to wait around. I went just down the road to Hertz. Went in, signed paperwork and drove off all in 20 minutes. Beat the crowd and reservations, just drive down to Hertz!
