Really beautiful drive. If you are interested in architecture there are many many older homes built during a much different time, when craftsmanship and design meant something. The sweeping views of the river from the bluff are breathtaking, even in winter.

Visited home after 9 years and decided to stroll Grandview Drive-I’ve never been! I never realized just how scenic Peoria is. Enjoyed just observing nature, the historic houses and the river views. A driver did get mad that we were going slow even though I pulled to the side to let him pass. Other cars started to come and wanted to go quickly so we kept having to pull over which was annoying. Probably would have been better to park somewhere and walk. There is a nice shaded park with swings which my 10 month enjoyed. Beautiful area!
