Without question, the ladies that work here give the finest haircuts I have ever had. The shop appears to be a hair salon, but they have as many men customers as women, and its not hard to understand why.
My hair grows in a certain way that makes it hard for most barbers to cut my hair in the way that I like. Metropole does not have that problem, (especially Kelly.) Because they do both hair styling as well as hair cuts, they understand the different ways hair can be cut. I get *exactly* the kind of crisp look I like, with the hair styled that accomodates the way my hair grows.
I live in North Carolina, but always schedule an appointment when I come back for a visit!

Great haircuts and nice people as well.
They do walk-ins and you can also call and schedule an appointment. I use Kelly and when she’s not arround Donna but any of the ladies are great!
They do men and women so don’t be frightened away by the line that it’s an all woman barbershop.
Their prices also seem to be in line with what I hear you get for haircuts in Peoria but to be honest I haven’t been to any other barbershop in over 20 years!
As for the person mentioning Jo Marie no longer being there… sadly she passed away and that’s the reason she’s not there.
