I get a lot of my things from there– I play a double reed, and the Kidder reeds are okay for a couple of days, then sometimes they get all wonky. Sometimes they do work for a while– although a while is less than two weeks. They are very expensive. There is not a very good choice of music for oboe– flute books do work, but they have too high of a scale. In other words, they do not have very good intermediate books. They do have a okay selection of holiday songs in the back for oboe. I did get my oboe from here, and it lasted for a good while. I’m not sure what other people with different instruments would think about Kidder. I think it depends on the instrument you play. So, overall, I find Kidder to be satisfactory but not the best. Other instruments probably think differently, though.
