Best fried pickles ever! Hopefully, you will get Luke as a server! Great, cozy atmosphere!

Tried it once. It was good. Nice place! Breadsticks weren’t that great but pizza was ok.

Sad to say, the pizza wasn’t very good. The crust was rock hard and it was cooked to death… black around the edge. The cheese had boiled and bubbled and then turned hard on top. The toppings were really skimpy. One olive on a piece and nothing else? Several pieces were like that. There were 3 pizzas on our table and they were all the same. Our waiter was a nice guy but needs to go to waiter school. No napkins, plates or utensils. We had to ask and then wait for them.(Pretty basic stuff). He never came back to refill drinks until we were all done. The saving grace was playing trivia. That was fun. That is why I gave it a 2 instead of a 1. There are too many good pizza places around to ever come back here.

Pizza was tasteless unless you enjoy bland sauce and american cheese on a pizza. Service was great and the craft beer rocks. They even had a craft beer takehome glass.

I recently brought a friend here for a drink and some dinner and we were VERY disappointed. I had been there when it first opened and it was very disorganized then but I forgave due to my experience in the restaurant service. Having been opened for this long now there is no excuse. The bartender was rude and just looked bored and annoyed to be there. The craft beer selection was okay but not as good as some of the other craft beer spots in town. Now you have to pay to sample a beer which was frustrating because the whole point of me taking my friend out was because I wanted her to branch out of her typical domestic beers and give some crafts a try. I understand the concept because they don’t want someone sampling everything for free and not buying, but at least give the option to also buy a full 5 or 6 sample flight. The one we both liked ended up blow on on the second pour so the bartender dumped it out. From my experience as a server I’ve always given the customer the partially full glass and explained it blew but offered some other suggestions they might like. No such luck. I would have liked to try something different but I didn’t want to spend 3 more dollars and more samples. We had to ask for menus 3 or four times and the bartender acknowledged this many times but never brought them. I eventually went up to the host stand and grabbed my own(there was no host there because it looked like all the employees were chatting near the server station) one girl was hammering a bar mat loudly ON the bar top. This was very distracting and you should never use eating surfaces for work while people are eating … I also overheard some of the staff bad mouthing the owners. Not very classy with paying customers nearby. The pizzas were pretty good, but the cheese fries weren’t great. All the cheese just fell right off the fries since it wasn’t very hot. I also noticed it was very empty for a Friday night.

Love their fried pickles and pizza! I love the atmosphere of an old house converted into a restaurant. I always order the pickles, they are homemade pickles and the creamy dill dip is an awesome compliment to them.

Ordered the Atomic Burger with Fried Pickles(Frickles). The burger was super spicy and didn’t have much of any other flavor, but the Frickles, oh boy, the Frickles cannot be compared to anything I’ve ever eaten before! It’s sweet, it’s savory, it’s(mildly) spicy, it’s crunchy, it’s fried! My tastebuds feel all tingly just thinking about them.

My husband and I have always enjoyed Olivers. It’s typically our Friday night Pizza and Beer date. The Bartender knows us by name, however we went in this past week and may have been turned off for a while. We, like others, choose Olivers for their Craft Brew selection and the pizza isn’t bad either. There was a new beer on draft that i had never tried and asked the bartender if I could try a sample before i order a whole glass. I was told«I’m sorry, we don’t give samples anymore»…so you’re telling me that i have to pay for a beer that i may not even like? I have seen them waste more beer, then they would give in a sample. I could understand for people who abuse the tasting privilege, but for a regular to be denied a sample of a beer… that is just poor customer service. Not to mention, they rip you off on the beer they do serve. The majority of the beers they serve do not need to be served in snifter. however they serve them this way and still charge you what other places would charge you for a pint. Customer Service will take you a long way, Olivers… better get on the ball.

Okay. every restaurant in Peoria cannot be 5 stars folks. That kind of defeats the purpose of rating. I digress. Oliver’s was a good stop. The service was good. The food was good. The beer was good. The old fashioned was not good-I don’t think you could put an OF in a smaller glass and call it an OF unless you had a shot glass and with some orange and cherries on the side. For 8.50 you need to provide a bonafide drink. Pizza was really tasty. Crispy crust and the toppings were good. TLDR: Service great and food served quickly. Beer good. Old fashioned, not good. Atmosphere was excellent. Great music.

Oliver’s it’s a great place to grab a beer or two and chill. They have some incredible food, although the appetizer portions are a bit small. The mixed drinks are also really good, and the staff, especially Mike, are really knowledgeable about the beer and alcohol they serve. With a friendly and helpful staff, great atmosphere, and awesome food, I’d highly recommend Oliver’s north.

Great beer on tap, craft beer that is. Had the wings, they were excellent. Also had a pizza, it was good. The wing’s were the star and the beer. Little odd sitting in the upstairs when the entire dining room was empty? Felt sorry for the wait staff! Must of had a party scheduled?

Came in late on a week night and sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable about his products. Ordered a sandwich for a friend that was joining us; I snitched most of her fries because they were so delicious! They’ve got a kick, be warned! Beer was excellent and fresh. I enjoyed the home-like décor and atmosphere. Too cold to go outside but I’ve heard their beer garden is very cute! I will definitely be back!

Girlfriend and I stopped by for a bite to eat. Ordered a large pizza with onion, mushroom, green pepper, sausage. The wait staff was nice, but it was definitely understaffed as it took a looooong time to get our pizza. Ordered a milk stout which was very tasty and if I wasn’t driving I would have definitely gotten another! When we got our pizza we unfortunately were underwhelmed. It was super small for what I consider a «large» pizza to be, the gf also said it was a little soggy, and it just was not anything special. I was really hoping for something better. The over all dining experience was nice and the house and backyard was very«cute». Might come back one day to give it another chance, but it’s nothing special I will remember. Another strange thing was that they had cartoon Star Wars playing on the TV with no kids present…

Thank You! The hostess was amazing. She found things to keep our 15 month old son occupied. The food was delicious and our waitress was attentive and outstanding… we originally came because our son’s name is Oliver but we stayed because it was a great atmosphere and tasty food.

Great thin crust pizza, fried cheese curds, beer floats, craft beers, etc. The menu is constantly changing to keep things fresh. Two patios for outside dining as well.

I really want to like this place! Within walking distance, it could be a fun place to hang out after work. Both times I have gone, the service has been very slow. It was almost like our server forgot about us. Two dishes were brougjt out a good 5 min apart, with the second being cold. The food was good, leaning towards very good. Had it been hot and not taken over an hour to get, I am sure it would have been very good. Beer selection is decent, but not great. I will give it a third try at some point. Hoping they just need to work the new place kinks out. Overall, I would say give it a shot, but be prepared to wait for your food and servers.

Hip, new spot for dinner/drinks in Peoria. Located on Willow Knolls across from Kellogg GC, Oliver’s has Peoria’s most robust selection of craft beers. Most of the handles are from local distributor Marketplace Selections, so this is definitely the place for the craft beer connoisseur. Trivia on Thursday nights is also a big draw. I would highly recommend Oliver’s for drinks or dinner! The food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is cozy, homey and intimate.
