Gave my watch to Kay jewelers in El Paso, and all it needed was a battery and a pressure test as it was a citizen dive watch. Received it almost a month later. The watch was running but the sweep hand was at the 7 mark and the side buttons to run the stop watch were stuck and inoperable where they worked fine before. Kay jewelers called them only to be told they must have broken it, which could only have happened from the inside. It was sent back. It was returned three week later. The buttons now worked but the sweep hand was still on the 7… no one at Parsec noticed this a second time? Kay jewelers apologized and sent it back again for a third try, overnighting it Monday. Kay called them Thursday and were being told they were checking the watch to see what it needed. Really? They already had it twice and all they had to do was reset the sweep hand to the 12. Kay Jewelers told me parsec would send them an estimate for repair. What!!! I already paid for it and they screwed it up twice. Kay said they would pay anything extra. Still waiting in late January to get back my watch I sent them in early November. I might avoid these people.

i needed a small part for my watch and they wanted me to buy an entire new band. the part is called a ‘keeper’ and it was nice of them to tell me that terminology since I had no clue. but i easily found the part for 99 cents online. i really dont like to be forced to buy stuff i dont actually need, hence the 1 star review here.

I do attest to the previous reviews. You would think a company chosen by such higher end companies would be stellar in their customer service and repairs. I sent my watch in about two weeks ago. The status online was not updated to tell me what is going on besides that they have received my watch and is pending an estimate. I emailed customer service, and got a very sassy email back from the President of Parsec Enterprises saying that if they were to email everyone that they have received the watch, it would be a waste of time of their employees. One, I was not asking about why they didn’t email me when they received my watch(which, they should since they are dealing with valuable watches here), and two, I was asking as to what the current status is. He told me that I will get my watch back in 3 weeks. Really, it’ll take 3 weeks? I do believe that you should email a customer saying you have received their watch and provide them with the job number. This is what customer service is for. I was also told that under normal circumstances, you will have contact with Parsec unless something is wrong. If nothing is wrong, you send in your watch, they do what they do without telling you anything, and you hope that in a month or two, a random package with your watch will appear in the mail.

After writing this review and sending a few more emails to the company. I did get a response and received my watch back in a few weeks. Very happy and it’s working now. I’d suggest getting it looked at a watch shop before sending your watch off because it might just be cheaper(shipping and handling) and you’ll get it back sooner

I looked this company up on Google because i needed my Kate Spade Carousel watch repaired. I sent my watch in with original recipe to them as specified with a $ 12.95 cashiers check for the return shipping. I was told that my watch wasn’t covered under warranty any longer and that a nominal fee would be charged for repairs. Well, please don’t let the word NOMINAL fool you. I received a bill for $ 189.85 dollars to replace the battery, crown, stem and Integrated(whatever that is). Please keep in mind that this watch only cost $ 250 brand new in the stores. After they deducted the $ 12.95 that I had previously sent, my bill came out to $ 176.90. I was very shocked at how expensive it was. I paid my bill but I feel as though they took advantage of me. I’m leaving this review in the hopes that other people will not make the same mistake as me.

Terrible customer service! You would think this being a company that provides repairs for Movado made watches that they would try their hardest to make their customers happy. I sent in a Juicy Couture watch to be repaired, spending $ 35.00 just to send it to them with insurance… for them later to email me that due to this watch being discontinued they were no longer able to retreive parts to repair my watch. Granted I was very disappointed and all they could offer me was 25% off a new Juicy Couture watch which is honeslty nothing compared to the price of these watches. They are willing to give me 25% off however as I spoke with the manager Heather at this company they were unwilling to waive the $ 15.00 I had to pay for my watch to be returned. This was a graduation watch from my mom which is dear to me and of course I do not want them to simply throw it away like it means nothing to me and give me a measily 25% off. I work in customer service myself so I would think to the Movado group $ 15.00 is not a big dent in their budget to waive. To sum it up I will never buy another Movado product… I will always ask the retailer if their watches are made by the Movado group as I will never buy another watch under this manufacturer!
