This was a spot we visited during a trip to Bradley University. It actually is a clothing and record store. One room is clothing and one room is vinyl. Son #3 said the vinyl they had was reasonably priced and there was a good selection. He was happy to have found this spot. The clothing is VERY vintage. Think of dresses you would see on Leave it to Beaver or Bewitched. They were about $ 25 – 40 each as well! This would be a great spot for a theater company to visit for costumes since the pieces are really dated. They were also expensive, but maybe the owner was going for the theater angle. I’m a big advocate of these little shops, so I was happy to check it out. I’m glad my son found some vinyy there because the clothing selection was not for me.

Ribbon Records is located right down from the university and I can’t believe I didn’t see or hear about it until a couple of weeks ago. Ribbon Records has two main rooms: one for clothing and one for records. There is clothing for men and women alike. The records are mostly used with a focus on older records(70’s, 80’s, 90’s). So if you are looking for modern records, this is NOT the place to go. The prices for the records are reasonable, ranging from the dollar bin to maybe $ 5 for a single record.
