The snotty, bored receptionist turned me away at 4:40 because they close at 5? I’d like to have discussed it with her further, but she shoo’d me away so she could take a phone call. She indicated that they allow 30 minutes for a haircut before closing, but it was for a child. Most business don’t turn business away like that.
I’d rate them lower (front desk staff is ALWAYS rude, seeming out out to do their job), but they always give a good haircut. I won’t go back after this experience. After unloading two small children from their carseats only to be turned away, I’d have appreciated it if they would post such a policy on their door. Or perhaps they could just close when they are scheduled to close.

Been going for several months now. A great place. Great prices. $ 19 for hair cut. Good hours– 7 dys a week. Walk-​in welcomed. Ask for Reba. Does super job. I have very fine stringy hair & she makes me look good. Never cuts to short. Like that. Can always take more off. They can accommodate the whole family. Would recommend this place. Lots of stylist. Everyone seems to do great job.

Got my haircut by David, who you can always count on, and he did an excellent job. He takes his time to make sure you are happy with the job that he has done and also leaving with the style you asked for. Scissors is a very clean place and newly remodeled with a friendly staff up front answering the phones and scheduling the appointments. I have been to many places and when looking around their is hair on the floor and dirty work stations… never here. I will continue getting my haircut by david at scissors.

I finally found a stylist that was capable of cutting and highlighting my hair EXACTLY the way I wanted, unfortunately my husband’s job transferred him to Chicago. I miss Rosalie (I am not sure I spelled her name correctly), and the prices were reasonable, too.

I came here one day with a friend to get her haircut and she liked the staff and the stylist did a good job. They also do waxing, sell a lot of different products. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I did my eye brows and she did a great job and i will come back to them.

This is where I always go to get my hair cut. The ladies are friendly, efficient, and don’t try to talk your ear off while doing your hair. Plus it always ends up looking fabulous.

I like coming to Scissor’s when I need to get in quick and haven’t made an appointment. They usually can get you in right away and they do a fairly good job. I’ve been there a ton of different times, I can only complain about one visit I had. My hair was highlighted but it turned out platinum all-​over which was definitely not what I asked for. I came back the next day and they fixed it. Unfortunately, I still had to pay because the girl who messed it up was on vacation. That wasn’t really fair but at least I got it fixed. They have tons of products to purchase and it is a pretty large salon with tons of stylists. I’m sure that you could at least find one person you liked out of everyone there! Also, now that I’m used to Chicago prices, I appreciate the prices at Scissors even more!
