Sweet Cakes by Rachael

Rachael was recommended by our caterer when we began planning our daughter’s wedding reception. Great choice! Choosing a wedding cake can be stressful, but Rachael is so personable and kind that she made our planning easy and relaxed. We tasted her cupcake samples and were convinced that the groom’s wish for «lots of awesome cake» would come true. After some internet sticker shock with other potential vendors, we were pleasantly surprised at Rachael’s very reasonable prices. We ordered 6″ and 8″ round tiers on a pedestal stand for cutting, and decorated sheet cakes to serve our big crowd, which worked fine and stayed on budget. We were also pleasantly surprised that Rachael said we could have a cake topper ready at the reception venue and she would put it on the cake when she came to set it up. So we made a little Lego bride and groom in a forest scene, which looked very cute on the beautiful cake with its elegantly simply scrolled design we had ordered. Both the chocolate and white cakes with buttercream frosting were delicious and our guests enjoyed every bite!

I live in Kansas City but wanted to order a birthday cake for delivery in Peoria. I found Rachael on the Internet. What a great find! Reasonably priced, beautiful cakes, and she delivered right to the door of the birthday girl. It didn’t hurt that the cake was delicious, too.
