The Book Nook

The Book Nook is awesome. There are many different genres of books and a new section in the back. The cashiers are nice and it is one of my favorite book stores.

Easily the best secondhand bookstore in the Peoria area. I could kill hours just browsing here. They also have DVD and Blu-​Ray movies and some music CDs.
The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is one time while I was in there I overheard one of the employees badmouthing one of my favorite books of all time.

Excellent prices and selection — I left with seven books!
I will definitely be back next time I am in Peoria :)

Before their last expansion, they had a sci-​fi/​fantasy room! I was so stoked! They still have the most in this area! I literally got so many Michael Moorcock books here, sorry I had to geek out for a second. I lived in Atlanta for quite a few years, and even going to 2 of my favorite 2^nd hand bookstores there, I would have my mom stop in here for me. Also, every time I would come to visit I’d also make sure to stop in. I think that other guy may have confused the place further down on Knoxville and Lake confused with Book Nook because that’s the place that has a lot of romance novels. Book Nook has almost every subject you can think of. They are huge now. Plus if you don’t want to search for it, just ask and they will find it for you if they have it. They may not always have the exact book you want, but if you let them know they will look out for it. Their staff are the best!

Great selection of pulpy romance novels if you’re into that. No art books I could find. It seems like the selection is entirely made up of other people’s cast-​off trade-​ins.
