I shop at this Home Depot pretty regularly and I’m always surprised at how unfamiliar the employees are with the products available in the store. I don’t trust their input when I am asking questions. My husband and I were shopping for a patio umbrella. We found a young man to help us and he did the best he could but we had to tell him that the umbrella could only be ordered online. We went to the service desk to order it and I didn’t have a pen so I hadn’t written the product number down. The worker handed ME the pen and told me to go write down the product number. This Home Depot does not understand good customer service.

Rude, unhelpful employees. I went there looking for one round stepping stone and maybe some flowers. I wandered around the garden center and encountered employees who didn’t even smile at me, say hello or ask if they could help me. One female employee was talking on her cell phone. I asked the cashier at the register where to find the stepping stones, but still couldn’t locate them. I put the flowers back I had planned to purchase and I will never shop there again.

No surprises if you are familiar with Home Depot. The only exceptional feature for me is proximity. I can get here in less than five minutes from the time at which I realize I have forgotten something I need for the project on which I am working. This convenience has led to my project planning getting sloppy. Oh well. Also, the store has WiFi which is cool for those of us without smart phones.
