Mr. Tooley is a stellar barber and a stellar person. I went to him for a hair and beard trim the day before my wedding, and it was a great experience. He made me look perfect for my special day, and I really enjoyed chatting with him while he worked.

Mr. Tooley is a pleasure to spend 20 minutes with. He has been cutting hair in this barber shop for over 40 years. If you want a great haircut with a side of Peoria history, you can’t go wrong with Tooley’s!
Hours: He prefers appointments and might not have regular hours, call ahead. I called on a Friday and he had several times available.
Parking: There is a self-park garage next to Tooleys, or plenty of parking on Fulton St. and at the Twin Towers.
This is a tradition barber shop with a very experienced barber. It’s a gentlemen’s haircut and far better than a salon.
Price is $ 16 for a standard men’s cut. Beard trim/shave was also available.
