Nifty odds and ends kind of store. A lot of old/retro stuff that is stuff you’ve never seen before or stuff you never knew you could buy! Ends up getting a Peoria magnet while my friends picked up some unique hangers and a retro-style soda. Friendly staff. A great place to pick up stuff if you are looking to spruce up your place with older/retro items!

Wow– What a neat place. They have a lot of awesome local flavor going on here. Great items in all price ranges. It’s like the buyer here reached into little figments of my memories, and pulled out artifacts to take me back to my youth– Sandy’s? Hell yeah! The broiler from Sandy’s in Washington went to Mr Quick in Sunnyland, but alas– it’s closed as well. In the back room, there’s a ton of letters and other neat items. And a MYSTERIOUS plywood door– that apparently leads to their collection of other stuff, not quite for sale– But I was able to peak and see some pretty cool items. Can’t wait to come back for more. And yes, the arm wrestling game works!

Cool collection of wares. They have vintage/antique/new items in the store. My favorite find was a wall of new record players. The staff is awesome, friendly, and accommodating. A fun place to browse, shop, and get inspired.

This is one of three new businesses in the same building: Studios on Sheridan and Restoration are also connected. This one has a more industrial feel to it with antique radios, farm implements, appliances, bikes, cash registers, etc. I had a lot of fun looking at all of the antiques but I thought all the prices were much to high for a mere novice like myself. Maybe these are just for serious collectors and who knows, maybe they are worth every penny of what they are marked. There was an antique Schwinn bike that was marked nearly $ 400 but these are for sale on Chicago’s Craigslist for not even $ 200. The one they had displayed even had a flat tire! I think of this place as more of a museum that a retail shop but I hope someone in town treasures these items as much as the owners or they won’t be selling much of it!
