Picking up 2 prescriptions for my dogs who ingested pieces of a severely toxic sego palm tree from the back yard. After a 4 hour vet appointment, came to fill the scripts. Staff is nice, but was told 20 – 30 minutes at 9:10. It’s now 10:05 and was told another 20 minutes. It’s now 10:30 and still no medicine. My dogs are on the edge of possible liver failure and the medicine that I need will stop the toxins from metabolizing in their bodies. We are all important patients, so it is unfortunate that me and the other 10 people here have to wait so long for important medicine! One man is here is picking up medicine for his wife who just got out of the hospital! I do feel bad for the girl in the front, she has been yelled at by multiple patients so trying my best to be positive and nice, but worried about my pups at home! Walgreens, please address this issue with the pharmacy! It seems by reading the reviews that this is a common occurrence. :(

This location is terrible. The pharmacists are rude and whatever time they give you to pick up your prescription, double that… IF they even have your medicine in stock, that is. When you politely call and ask whether your medicine is ready after waiting 3 hours past the time you were quoted to pick up, you receive snippy, unapologetic responses. Probably wouldn’t be writing this review if this was the first time, but sadly this is the norm and has happened on multiple occasions. We will be switching pharmacies to one that appreciates our business and has their act together.

Walgreens store itself, I have recieved nothing but great customer service. Now the Pharmacy is a different story. They are so unorganized and seemed so confused! Everytime I go(which I go weekly for my mother) there’s someone new who doesn’t know what they are doing and it’s always a hassel. I just went through the drive thru and the lady running it was arguing with a customer about his wife having to come and get her meds. She just got out of THEHOSPITAL! SMH. My heart broke for him. He was already upset and Walgreens made it worse. Get your crap together Walgreens Pharmacy.

I literally waited in the drive-thru line for 20 minutes and NOTONE car moved!!! HELLO! I didn’t feel well and I wanted to get my prescription dropped off!!! During my 20 minute wait, I called Safeway because earlier I had received an email stating that I could get up to $ 75 for a new prescription and refills! I discovered that they take my insurance, but they could not tell me how much it would cost unless I brought it in. They are too far for me to do that tonight! In the meantime, I called Walgreens to find out that the wait to pick my prescription up would be 90 minutes… yes, a minimum of 90 minutes AFTER drop off!!! SO…I called Fry’s grocery store, right across the street(kitty corner) to Walgreens. They gave me a CASH price, without insurance, of $ 8.39!!! SCORE!!! It would take them only 30 minutes to fill my prescription!!! On my way to Fry’s, I noticed that CVS directly across the street had not ONE car in their spacious drive through! Because I was not feeling well, I scooted on in and was immediately greeted! I explained my irritation with Walgreens. My prescription was filled within TWOMINUTES and they took my insurance!!! Hello CVS!!! BYE, BYE Walgreens, FOREVER!!!

Oh. Well, in addition to my service experience, I also saw another waiting customer be rather under serviced… rather than tell my tale of woe and complain needlessly(because I believe nobody cares) let me just share a warning to help YOU if you are picking up an RX here. Here it is: do not trust the digital sign in the pharmacy area. If your name is NOT on the board, or if it was on the board and dropped off before saying something like«ready for pick up» or whatever, just get in line and go to the counter NOW. Things won’t magically get filled and the pharmacy doesn’t mind that you are waiting. In fact, they do not appear to know or care. Good luck. Truly, good luck. Their motto should be «Walgreens…because you are here.»

I will NOT be going back to that pharmacy! The Doctor was rude and treated me like a peon. The communication between the pharmacy and Doctor is nil. They obviously don’t like working together.

amazing and enthusiastic employees, even on christmas eve! i needed to print pictures for a gift and one employee saw me waiting after i finished placing my prints, he checked if my photos were ready earlier than what my paper printed, they weren’t and at that moment the machine messed up but he communicated that with me so instead of the original 30 minutes it was suppose to take, he told me upfront the machine would prob be delayed and to possibly come back a bit later than that to be on the safe side. Thank God he even asked me and was attentive! i came back and they were ready of course :) im just happy they dont neglect their customers! also the lady who was greeting was also very nice and helpful to everyone who came in. thank you! i know its hard to work on special holidays.

This review does not include the pharmacy. The regular staff are consistently friendly and helpful compared to other Walgreens I’ve been to in Peoria and Glendale. I shop here at least once a week because the prices on certain items are often lower than at grocery stores. A good selection of cosmetic and beauty items too.

By far the worst possible service! If Miss Nita didn’t need these meds first thing in the morning I wouldn’t be here!!! They are simply awful!!! I’ve even written to leaders here and do you think they’ve taken even a moment to call and talk? I’ve been treated horribly over and over!!!

I absolutely LOVE this Walgreens. Staff is super friendly here! I live about 20 miles away from this location but when I go visit my family(which live about a mile away from here) I always visit here to grab the things I need.

Horrible pharmacy customer service!!!. Everytime I’m here I get some type off runaround that seems like it’s almost out of something personal because of my tattoos and image. Last time it took 3 hours! After being told«one more hour» 3 times! Now this time I bring the same script I bring to other Walgreens for years and they want some kind of diagnosis code for extra verification. Basically saying I’m a suspect of fraud. The Asian manager guy literally said before I even opened my mouth «2 hour wait… If you don’t like it you can go somewhere else» Wwwoooowwwww

I had a nurse call in a Rx for me with urgency and they forgot to check the messages so they never filled it and didn’t even know about till they realized it was on the machine from almost an hr before!!! So there I sat waiting even longer!!! TERRIBLE!!! A few others were pissed at them about something too while I was waiting! It would’ve been worth the drive to go somewhere else!!! Pissed

This Walgreens is horrible if you need to have a prescription filled or see a PA. They are rude and slow every single time. As I sit here typing this I’m waiting for my child to be seen. They open at 9:30 in a Saturday. The PA just walked in 10 minutes late and really couldn’t care less that we are waiting. This has happened many times. We only go here when we have no other choice. Hopefully if they get enough poor reviews they’ll shape up! I have edited my review down to one star. Why? Same as always terrible, TERRIBLE customer service. If you just need to pick up a few things, you’re good. However if you need the pharmacy or the clinic-Beware! Not only will you wait a ridiculously long time, the PA’s staff g the clinic are awful and rude. I went in a few months back and the PA refused to examine me. Turns out I had pneumonia. Nice work Walgreens!

I have been going to this WALGREENS since it opened around the corner from my previous house. Now that it is 24 hours the store has definitely fit into my schedule working & going to school. Even though I no longer live in the neighborhood I do not want to switch to another WALGREENS because everyone is familiar with me & my medical history. The staff at the pharmacy are very knowledgeable & always willing to help to answer any question you might have. Thus is why I do not want to change to another WALGREENS.

This review is solely regarding the cosmetics section of this store. My wife came here frequently to indulge in some of the newest products. The main woman at the cosmetics counter(sorry I forgot her name), was very friendly and always helped us find exactly what we were looking for! They were always ahead of the curve and very well stocked. I highly recommend shopping here for cosmetics!

The staff at this Walgreens is amazing. They are consistently friendly and helpful. There is apparently a prescription program where you pay $ 20 a year per person, and after that your prescriptions are only up to $ 15 a script… This was the only store that told us about the program. This saved us around $ 500 on just one prescription! The store has everything(from kitsch to Jim Beam), and everyone’s pretty nice. I would organize it a little better, but no biggie…
