The one good thing I can say is that the room, while badly outdated, was clean and tidy and the beds were reasonably comfortable.
The service was not so good. We stopped on here while bike touring through the area, and got a sour «you can’t bring your bikes in the room» from the owner. Not «you can’t bring your bikes in because I’m worried about damages.» Not «you can’t bring your bikes in, but you can stash them in a corner of the huge garage we have behind the building.» Just a curt refusal.
If the B&B is full, this might be your only option for lodging in Pepin — at least until the nearby winery builds the planned hotel. But if you can pass on by and stay in a different town instead, I’d recommend it.

Seriously just pass. This place needs help & care that it simply is not getting. Move on. Carpet is destroyed. I was scared to not wear shoes anywhere. I honestly thought the bed was just the box spring part for the longest time it was so uncomfortable… Just… sad. *pass*
