Rita’s Italian Ice

Love Rita’s! The staff are always pleasant and friendly. Large choice of flavors, and all delicious! My favorite ice cream place around.

Came here last night to satisfy my craving for something sweet! As most that know me know that I’m the Sweettooth Queen, and always satisfy my cravings– this place barely did the trick. I’m usually a Rita’s fan but the custard was limp and melted and the benches outside were broken and there was no place to sit and eat.

Great place. The service is fast and the employees are nice. I live the custard and the different types of flavors.

Their ice and custard is good but they are extremely expensive. Staff is usually nice but i hate being asked to upgrade all the time.

I used to get it all the time in high school. Seriously, when my friend got her license we used to frequent Taco Bell & Rita’s all the time while blasting CD mixes we made. It was the life.
I hadn’t had Rita’s in a very long time and I remember being disappointed the last time. But Rita’s has redeemed herself!
My bf and I went for a walk around the lake where I saw really cool birds (Googled one to be a red-​winged blackbird), and a turtle!
Then Unilocaled + GPSed ice cream. Apple maps would have had me drive right by it so lucky we noticed. It’s across the street from Bagel Heaven.
I didn’t realize Rita’s had toppings! What a pleasant surprise! I got what I used to always order: Gelati: Vanilla custard & chocolate ice. It is the absolute best! Then I added M&Ms. I’m glad I went with the large for only 50 cents extra. Taylor L. tried 3 or 4 different kinds of ice. I lost count, but the girl was really nice. He probs could have tried all the flavors and she would have been cool with it.

Ritas is a great alternative to icecream! I love the peach ice with the vanilla custard! It tastes like a summer daydream ! I never gave it a try before because it was a chain place and I wanted to support local mom and pop places but — I must admit… I’m hooked!
