This was a gem of a place to find. Good was absolutely awesome. I had an omelet that was huge and my wife had the burrito. We also split a French toast fritter. We will be back. If you want something low key and really good food stop here.

We had a very good lunch here today and a very nice conversation with the owner. Will go back if we ever are on the area.

Nice service, wonderful food for Sunday brunch — turkey sandwich was fantastic on cranberry wild rice bread(a specialty). Turkey is cooked sous vide(in a plastic bag to keep in juices and cooked for a long time in water) and wonderfully tender and juicy. We ate on the patio which is shaded and cute. Menu was clever and they use a collection of different mugs, which was fun — we even got one from the company my husband works for. We met the owner and enjoyed talking with him. Second visit was early morning breakfast with more typical menu, lots of substitutions and sides allowed. French toast was very good, definitely my pick of the menu. Cranberry wild rice bread available as toast and I got that too — yummy! This would be a great neighborhood café in a big city or even a destination worth getting to for brunch but extraordinary in Pequot Lakes!

We have spent many summers in this area and had our first experience at The Hungry Loon this summer. We will be making our way back each time we come. Delicious food, great portion sizes and options and friendly staff.

I had a Turkey sandwich. We asked if it was dark meat since that is what I prefer but we were told no but it would be moist since they cook the meat in a bag so that the juices stay. It was very good with good cranberry sauce. Cuban coleslaw was different and very good. Like a mix between creamy and vinegar with some special spices. Chai tea was good Interesting menu with clever little comments Nice deck with lots of shade Very nice staff Good prices
